best thing to do is play on the practice table and learn the angles to pot to perfection , once u figure out how to pot well move onto power control , positioinin onto next balls to pot , snookering and even doubling.

watching other players helps to show u how to do these but u also can pick up on their badhabits in the game.

also never ever blame a loss for bad play , lagg , or the other person distracting u .... lagg only affects what u see .. stop the motion of the mouse and try agen , there is no such thing as bad play u are still using the same lines as u normaly would in your good play .

never blame loss's or anything on other people they cannot control what u r doing behind the screen

lol, you took these tips from me but still i need tips, 8ball us and 9ball us please give me some tips

Us 8 ball and 9 ball are a lot different to Uk 8 ball .

to start the shots you will need to take have to be more precise to not shutter in the pockets, this can be easy to learn if u take ur normal line of potting for Uk 8 ball and fine tune the angle of shooting a couple spaces till the ball goes in nicely,

also if you are to play safe on Us 8 ball you have to remember you have to hit your ball and then either the white ball or stripe/solid has to touch a cushion, on a safety to to position the ball so that they either ... 1. have to set you up on a ball from hitting theres.... 2. fouling..... 3. ruining the position of there ball further.

Us 9 ball isnt a skill based game, u could only take 1 shot and win the game . all you have to do is make sure the 9 ball is postioned in an unpottable place and the other player cannot get to it. if u do this they will have to hit the 9 ball on there turn ... and u have the chance of potting.

i have plenty of tips . jus bring up subjects u would like to hear about :P

What I said worked for me, playing like others who have practiced is a good way to start to become competitive with other players, once you have got better you put your own style of play into it and can figure out ways to better their tactics.

Have a frame vs yourself on the practice table, then a friendly game before playing ranked ones if you want to get your rating up. Try to get a pot rate of at least 0.6 if you can. If you can't practice some more an eventualy you'll find it easier. As you get better you can raise this limit.

I have managed to get a fair few through trying a method over and over until i got to a point where i got nearly 1 every 5 games.

The method i use is to place the cue ball a third of the way up the 'D' and aim diagonally upwards to hit the second ball with my cursor just touching the top of the ball.
(full power with no spin btw)

I'm unsure if that will help cos it sounds rather confusing, but yeh if u want me to show you just ask.
