I have no problem with pro's as newbies, never have and never will. People setting up multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes, yes, obviously.
that has to be the most contradictive sentence ever. You said spinner that if a pro sets up a new account he is basically cheating. You called pro's cheats earlier on in the forum. questions for you spinner.

Also Martin, the rules do say one user should have one account. However later on in that conversation it was found out that so long as you break no rules, you will be fine with more than one. Spinner is just arguing about things he knows nothing about. He just states things with no theory to back his statements up. Then again i would imagine what spinner knows about anything you could write on the back of a stamp with a marker pen.

Fraudulent multi-use is when a user has two usernames and plays against themself repeatedly to create the impression they are a great player (yes, as stated in numerous previos thread on the subject, the implied metaphorical is most appropriate! )

Oh, and Phillippe, just think, you had 3 accounts where you had played and won enough to gain 830+ on each.
Thats a 155 point gain on each account, which means if you had only had one account your rank could have been 1440 plus!!!!

The best thing to do is concentrate on the game in hand. If you play somebody who is masked as a newbie, don't play him or her again.
There are always going to be users creating new names, whatever system is in place. If you are good you will beat them, if not you lose 3-4 points and learn a lesson in the process.

One more point. My aim when i get the time to play is to make it in the top 50, then the top 10.
People with multiple names have some fun, but it's the users with 1 name that can put the effort behind a single account.
It's these people who are the real legends around these parts, and we all know who they are as their stats speak for themselves.
What I’m trying to say is that it might be nice to have a few accounts, but why have a few flats when you can have a mansion?

Not sure why ot took so long but we got there in the end!
Cant deny all this talk is getting me interested in the whole rank thing at last. I'd never thought of it like a sorta league table before, rank being a relative thing rather than absolute.
Still dont see what the issue is with loosing points to a newbie, surely it is good to encourage newbies to play?
