one litttle tip I'd likeo add: practice trying to put the white in off (ie into the pocket) on everyshot while on the practice table..you'll learn fantastic things about spin and more importantly...if you know how to put it in...you should be able to keep it out!
I find some newbies can be great potters they just lose every game by hitting too hard and fouling.

good tips yes if you wanna create clones of nutta, ppl should be playng their own style. Fair enough treat them the same but they should play their own game.

Those tips are general and advising methods of practice rather than gameplay.

When facing a slow paced player play really fast and they will give way
When playing a good player eg topshot,guess_who etc your best way off winning is to snooker whenever possible and wait for a carry, then clear
Personally i dont play newbies. If they took this advice then i would have a thrilling game wouldnt i. This is a tip for gameplay not practice. I treat everyone equal on here, when i talk to them, until they act like an idiot. The only way to learn is to practice, just like anything else you get better by practice. If you play as advised e.g. cautious against every good player you will learn nothing.

Phillipe if thats your advice, ( the only way to learn is to practice, I suggest you post it on the new thread.
I reckon your just annoyed about the above quote -eg topshot,guess_who etc your best coz u didn't get a mention! don't worry I think your a good player, and I'd play cautious against you!

magicblack, i dont need to be recognised as a good player thanx. Its a game, not a pool training camp lol.
Ask anyone who plays sport. Practice practice practice. But hey no doubt you will reel off all the sports you play now as will everyone else and say i know this and that, so my answer to that is whatever!
All i'm saying is its a game, play it like one & enjoy it. It gets taken far 2 seriously as regards to ppl multi using, ppl behaving correctly & ppl giving advice.
oh heck what the hell, i know why dont we hold a power thinking session for 30 mins every thursday for newbies......maybe nick will let you hire the chat room for half an hour?. Put on a buffet make them feel at home. Brainstorming. Maybe make some little newbie badges for them?

Thats the trouble nowadays, you have to be politically correct, dont speak out of turn, and be polite. Well not me. This is a forum, for ppl's opinions, in my opinion just let them learn by practicing...................the way i did.

Here are my tips:
- No matter who you're up against, play your own game. Even if your opponent is a newbie or a virtuoso, stick to your gameplan. Don't start playing in a way you're not used to.
- if you feel like you're playing worse than usual, don't worry. Happens to us all.
- Play to enjoy, not to win.

Topshot as i said its a forum for people's opinions. Please see above for my opinions. Its a game! not a training camp. In my opinion you should stop taking it so seriously mr moderator. What is your problem with me saying they should learn the way i did?I reckon if yor a mod coming on here trying to goad me into an argument you should not bother posting. have a nice day.

the reason im sayin it is because i dont feel u should be turning this thread into an argument in the first place, its simply genuine help to other users,i dont see how there is any bad in this, maybe all newbies arent as talented and gifted as you phillipe to learn so quickly lol, maybe other users need help help because i know i did when i started, your just forgeting the world isnt as smart and talented as you phillipe

i really and truly cant believe a mod can act like this. Trying to get a reaction from a member, how low. I never said anything about my talent topshot.
I used to get hammered week in week out. But i learnt off my own back and with my own effort and mind. Does an opinion have to be a positive one? just because its not positive does that mean your arguing? NO. I'm sure you'll grasp that concept one day on this site. I aint arguing i am debating. There is a difference. And in debates you state your opinion, kind of like in a forum kind of thing, hang on.....

what are moderators not allowed cast a view now,i was nt talking about ur talent,it was because u said eveyone should learn to play like you,and i my meaning was that they cant all learn like you.you feel you have to enter every thread for an argument, its always good to have peoples views in threads but it is just clear that your intentions are to disrupt the thread with negative views that are not needed.

If you read every thread i type in you will see that your statement is crap. Yes i do have an opinion and as i am older than most on here it is bound to differ as i have more experience. I didnt say your not allowed a view but is it a responsible way to behave in the forums as a mod trying to drag me into an argument? As i keep saying i am allowed an opinion. A few ppl (not many i know) agree with me, the ones who arent afraid to voice their true opinion and not be a sheep. My opinion DOESNT have to be positive
