errr can i change my lyric addition
This is dedicated to a man who died this day in 1986 .....here is part of one of his songs
R.I.P PPL

Valentino's got a booky shop,
and what he takes,He gives for what he's got,
And what he's got he says he has not
Stolen from anyone.

It's not that he don't tell the truth
Or even that he misspent his youth
It's just that he holds the proof
But you feel there's something's wrong

I thoughtof Wham, bu no idea of the song...

Other one - Thin Lizzy, but no idea of the song. But does Cuchullain make an appearance in the lyrics?

Edit: Phil Lynnott is the guy in question, and Thin Lizzy's the band

Waiting for an alibi??? I was thinking of something completely different!

I am Irish, and Phil Lynnott is a national legend. Black Irishmen are few and far between, so they're generally very well known when they do crop up. Phil Lynnott, Kevin Sharkey, and a few footballers. With English accents. Oh - Paul McGrath is Irish through and through, so he's an exception. But I can't think of any more.

If I "researched" it I'd know the song!!!

Right, my go...

Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Cant you understand
Oh my little girl

New Wave/New Romantic band. Song was released in 1990.

ok here i go

Well, it's not far down to paradise
At least it's not for me
And if the wind is right
You can sail away and find tranquility
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe me

It's not far to never-never land
No reason to pretend
And if the wind is right
You can find the joy of innocence again
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Yust you wait and see
Believe me

this song relevent to the BC just by the title, he also sang the Arthurs theme (for the film Arthur with dudley moore)
