Can all users please be aware that multi-using and banning guidance on this site has changed. The following now applies:

Each user should have ONE account. Any user that has more than one username, could have their secondary or higher usernames deleted without warning. Ordinarily we will not check for multiple accounts but when any funkypool.com rule is broken, we may take action against all accounts.

Anyone who is severly offensive, racist, cheats, threatens account security or has been booted a significant amount of times could face a banning punishment.

For users who have multiple accounts (Multi-Using Policy), please note that you will be permanently banned accross all your current usernames.

Please note if you re-register a new account it may be banned immediately. If you would like more information on whether or not you are welcome to create a new account, then please Contact us.

If you feel you were incorrectly banned, then you must check with the Terms of Service Page. If you still believe you didn?t break any rules then you may appeal through Contact us, detailing your username and why you feel you were banned incorrectly.

Sending a message through contact us is the ONLY method of getting a username un-banned.

sorry to b picky but does that mean that as long as we aint causin trouble were allowd multi accounts or not??

We are aloud another name aslong as we are good children

Break any rules and they can ban all names or delete other accounts?

Yeah I dont see a problem with other names, People have a main name, to win the tourny's and get rank on, then they have a secondary name, normally to get a good record and win percentage.

Or just to play on, some people might get bugged alot on 1 name, so they use there 2nd name

Ok, I have 2 usernames on funkypol. I think having 2 names is ok, but I'd like a moderator or an admin to clear this up - do I have to delete my other name, or is it ok as it is?

The last thing i want is to lose my stats on this name.

If i get this name deleted for havin a name i created intially for moderating puposes i aint gunna be best pleased.

Why do people need multiple accounts? Whats the point of playing under two different names? If an account was banned then fair enough but if the original account is still active there should be no need for another.

Its 100% right to delete multiple accounts and put everyone on evel ground, so to speak.

Ive had one name since poolsharks, and cant think of any possible circumstances to change!

If you have more than one username, you are running the risk of having your multiple usernames deleted.

If you break a rule and get booted or banned, then this will effect all your other usernames. This is to make sure that booting or banning is actually an effective punishment. (Rather than users just logging straight back in under a new username.)

And I completely agree with spinner and krauser, there is no reason to have multiple accounts.

Well simon, when you get good.. There are alot of people who are jelous of your pool playing ability and just give you constant abuse and hastle. Or keep asking you for a game and then give you abuse when you decline. Another name is a players weapon to fight this, they can then play peacefully for a few games without the hastle of there main name.

Chip_fork, I understand that. But surely logging in as a guest would be perfect for exactly that reason?

loggin on as a guest mite work but what if you dont want the hastle but still want to do tournaments?
