As you may have noticed, we have decided to let 10 of our moderators go. These moderators were mainly inactive, or thought not active enough to warrant being a moderator. They will be welcome to re-apply to be moderators in the future, if there personal circumstances change.

Most of these moderators were inactive anyway so it will not be neccessary for large scale replacement. However we will see how the current team do and will recruit as and when needed.

This is the beginning of our drive to raise moderating standards of this site.

Please do not use this thread to suggest future moderators or argue about moderators being demoted.

That looks like a very strong core funkypool team in place now!

Think It's pretty much perfect now, can stay as it is for me until numbers grow as all the mods are active and the right people for the job. Best thing about the new version is one change in moderating personel and I would like to thank admin for doing so. Made a few members including myself lives alot easier

We will not give reasons why individual moderators were removed or not, so please do not ask us to explain individual cases.

But we would like to thank all the moderators for the help they have given us whilst on the team.

I can confirm nev is still alive, as are goo and adam as I saw them shortly before leaving England. Nev recently made a successful transition between student and full time work!

Yep, looks like a nice little team yuo have now, the reduction in moderators wont be noticed anyway. Roll on the 9 ball! Even though i dont know the rules

I agree the mods are doing a good job but the two in bold i have never seen on the game. As for demoting rich, how the hell can you? Rich was one of the best mods on here and he was on more thn revenge, i think it's totally unfair. As for phase, when does he ever come on to help the " funkypool team ". (not a team if they dont't turn up).

I also think adding a moderator or two would be a good idea, it's a tough job as they do also want to play pool!

Being a mod doesn't prevent you from playing the game. You can still help out while playing with most problems.

Phase takes care of the snooker more than pool I think, but he does come online, honest. Revenge was possibly the best mod at one stage, and keeping him represents this, however he really isn't online much anymore.

Rich was a good mod. Not sure why he's been demoted but i'm sure the admins have their reasons. If not, i suggest pitch forks an torches an we go hunt them down

Now i knew this would come up eventually at some point, most people have no idea why i havn't been around which is proberly true.

The fact is that i have informed admins (i think) at one point or another why i havn't got on.
