yeh that what I was thinking, the odd 1 or 2 tournaments in the week for Lightning 10 secs per shot time limit tournaments.

There was a discussion about this in the tourney room. 10sec/10min limit.

20 secs is ridiculas(i cant speel, i kno), no-one needs that long to line up a shot..

I'd hardly describe that as bleedin lightning! Remember the 5sec tourneys on Yahoo? (does yahoo pool still exist?)

Got to quarter finals despite uber-lag. Very amused!

I remember them! I used to refuse to play unless the timer was under 6 seconds ^_^

yahoo pool does still exsist but 5 sec is 2 exreme some tournies durning the week as a lighting thing but not all the while maby have it as a premium feautre ??

nicknax once did a tournament with a 5 second limit and didn't relize

well i'd like to suggest once a week 20sec tourneys for to give the newbies a chance and let the rest of us play 10sec one so we dont get so bored!

No they will have to be 20 seconds and maybe 1 or 2 a week 10 secs. Otherwise the winners won't be good enoough. If you are good at the game you will take between 15 and 20 seconds per shot every shot.

Thats a strange analogy Ediss.. Its not like real pool where one has to walk around to judge angles etc, 10 secs is more than enought to have a look, pick your spin, and take the shot.

Indeed a more realistic time would mean the better players win more often, as they will always have planned several shots ahead.

But surely the winner is the best player regardless of how long the time is!

Anyways, lets not let this fall into an argument, lets settle our differences in a best of 10. (10 sec limit)

Hence I have 30 tourns, 89 seven ballings, 2 run outs etc since november. Not to impude your work obviously. I like to take my time lol.....

Spinner, 20 seconds doesnt seem to have helped your rank or win/loss ratio , do you think 10 seconds would improve your game?

Yep Mike only speaks the truth there. 15-20 secs per shot is perfect. If it wasn't it would have been altered a long time ago by admin.

Okies no arguments! And as for my rank and win/loss, well, put simply, i just dont care very much whether i win or loose. Just ask, if someone likes winning i'll most often just let em, i love the reaction :-)

However i definitely feel that a shorter time would improve my game, as the reason i dont care is because i get bored to tears waiting..

I can clear a table in 15 or less shots without taking more than 2 seconds on a standard shot 3-4 aiming a double. 5 seconds is plenty enough Also waiting for the next round wouldn't be much of a problem ^_^
