Was that a look?Did she give me a stare?
I'm certain i just met her eye.
I would go over and talk, if only i dare,
But my fear lets the moment pass by.

So subtle but certain, so shy but so strong,
I long to find out what she thinks.
To make an issue of this must be so wrong,
But night after night, she is lonely- methinks.

I know little of her, she little of me,
A social wall between us there lays.
If we were alone, then maybe she'd see,

She is an angel, with a god-like touch,

With the palm trees going, after my crash landing,
I am LOST (get it) and i hear some chanting.

Is all that i heard these nomads say.
The chieftan sits on a tree, feathers in hair,
I hid behind a bush, sit down and stare.
'Fakiki, fakiki, do-da-de gopene'
The craziest dance that i'd ever seen!
Suddenly i slipped, and cracked a small stick,
A feeling of fear, that made me feel sick.
The chanting just stopped, and they all looked around,
Wondering who had just made that small sound...
