my god, he loved his ales
a couple a night
never got into a fight
but could he tell some tales

(sorry, I started a poem about falling last night...but then my internet crashed, and I forgot about it!!)

To an old Friend, from G..

I looked at you just standing there
so pure, in robes of white
Your face that shone with light so pure
I could not bear the sight.

But soon, I noticed your deceit
Your plot against my throne
You're tinged with pink from head to feet
Your white light it has gone.

Your wings are slowly shrinking, red
and turning into horns
Consequence of the life you've led
Since the very first morn'

I gave you life, young Lucifer
And sat you by my side
Yet as a snake, you tempted her
In Hell you shall abide.

My Angel son, you fallen are
And rose against mankind
And from so high, you fell so far
Redemption you can't find.

Me, I'm an athiest...but a poem called Fallen was just too big a temptation to write to the devil, from God.
