White Fairies

The cool summer breeze does carry such things,
Laying on the grass as Mr Hendrix sings.
Invisible wind creating a slight gust,
To sunbathe with a beer, is a definate must.
And as my eyes stop itching, I see something near,
It cant be my mind playing as I've only had one beer.
Its the seeds off a flower, a white speckled ball,
Floating on the wind, so beautiful and small.
And as many of them pass me, one lands on my nose,
I walk towards the garden gate with many on my toes.
A wonderland of nature as the bees collect their lot,
In this big city life I have there's one thing I forgot.
That to come home and lay there, while nature takes its turn,
There's never a point in anyones life where we cannot learn.
So today I stared at the sky, as these things floated by,
And I dont think it was the hayfever, but a tear was in my eye.
