Well that doesn't exactly rhyme either

Tired legs, heavy on the eye,
A haze at the front and the mouths all dry.
A quick giggle here, a quick one there,
Tired old cheeks and a relinquished stare.

A fixated look on the blur in front,
Sentences short and so very blunt.
Hair that is dead, an colourless too,
Eyes are now blank but were once blue.

A rusty old smell on the old mans gown,
Long fingernails that have turned musty brown.
A very quiet voice with the vocals dry,
An old sunday suit with a silky blue tie.

Dry old lips, that are crusting on the edge,
An unkept garden with a withered old hedge.
The curtains shut, the tv on loud,
A memory of the sentences he had vowed.

Poor old man, life has past you by,
A lesson of life that we grow old and die.
Inside the withered body a thumping heart,
Still full of life as it was from the start.

All the love that history knows,
is said to be in every rose.
Yet all that could be found in two,
is less than what I feel for you.

Things to do with bread

Happy wholemeal and granary bread
Eat them at night an get crumbs in your bed
Tomatoes and lettuce, mayo an butter
Makes your heart go all a flutter
Pass the jam, dip in the knife
How many times have you done that in life?
Spread it on an take a bite
Then you have an idea bright!
Get new slice of which you can boast
Put it the toaster, make some toast!
This is bland i need creation
Lets go find bread of other nations
Ooer ooer a french baguette
That'll take a while to chew I bet
Bet I think I know, i've got a plan
Buy a sausage from the sausage man
Make it large an then buy two
Yes you've got it you know what to do
Put it in your lance of bread
And put it all in your mouth to fill your head
Perfecting this can take some weeks
Too slow, goes stale, too fast, hamster cheeks!
So practice you must with all of your loaves
To the bakers in your droves
To discover the wonders of yeast and flour
C'mon everybody, fight for bread power!

Would just like to say I have no idea why i've just made a poem about bread. But it's made me want to go make a sarnie even tho i'm not hungry
