hate to have to continue this on-going debate but:
Pretty much all the moderators are good players. Not saying they shouldn't be mods, don't get me wrong as they all are quality people. But theres only 2 or 3 who stay in the chat room, members bar etc. The rest are all good players. Now obviously they like to play the game like everyone else. But there are plenty of users in the chat rooms who should be moderators who do nothing but chat. Just an observation, my suggestion would be germanviking or justsomegirl.

It's actually a fair point, and similar to playerx thread previously, in that different parts of the system could do with different moderators.

Having said that, most the mods are good players because we often have given mod places to longer term users, and longer term users get to be good at the game.

just wondering how do you become a moderator? ive wanted to be one for like 2 years but i thort it went on your pool skill. is this true?

well actually that is not really true cause there was a moderator called maplebrit that was was not very good!! =)

I never talked to maplebritt. Therefor I won't comment on him as a player or a person as I don't want to be done by the funkypool police for slander.

If you want to become a moderator, then please start by assisting new users on the website and behaving in a responsible manner. We will then chat to you to see if we can consider you. We rule out instantly any users who approaches us constantly about becoming a moderator (ie pestering the mods or admins!)

Why and how has Pool_Shark become mod if this is what really happened , doesn't it say on the hompage or instructions that you can't "pester" mods / admins , i don't often talk to the guy but he seems ok!
