Has anyone tried to use the send complaint button?

First you need to type in a username which is hard enough especially if you are playing a game with a 10 second time limit!!

Then you need to type one of the ridiculous phrases which rarely has the phrase that matches your complaint!

Then if you are lucky enough to work it all out and it sends through... the mods and admins take no notice of it anyway!!!

thats one pathetic post , nick tries to help this site by stopping swearing etc and you just give greif back

why not just use the form after your game?
If none of options matches then scroll on 'other'!

Send complaint is the most severe action you can take against another user (remember it is very easy to ignore user). As such it requires you to fill in all the details. When it was easy to do, many people were sending for no reason, or for a mistake.

Each complaint is dealt with in turn, and either dismissed (almost 1/2 are escalating arguments with no one in the right or wrong), given bannings (about 1/3 - racist slurs earn a straight ban), the rest get a note of the complaint put on the players account.

We deal with them in batches of about 1 week, so people wont be banned immediately.

There you go louis, basically just ignore the user instead of running the mod team hoping that they will promote you if you get somebody banned.

Agree with first bit louis, about the information required. But I can't imagine Nick and Simon just look at the emails and think, can't be bothered to reply. Thats just ridiculous....

I'd say we've banned over 100 people through this, which is a significant amount.

Sounds like its the mani way to catch the guilty party to me....

I vote to axe all the mods and hire some super crime preventing karma police. I saw a set of 5 on ebay for under a tenner, invest nick. They are the future of chat room safety....

There is more thn one admin brunette. there is three others as well as 10 moderators. Thats plenty of people

but whether they hav time to sort every troublemaker out is another matter!
