I dedicate my 9ball win today to droflehz my opponent in the final, jj0123 for giving me practice rounds before the tourny and to hydro who let me win in round 2 when I had to play him. Cheers all I'ma get extra drunk 2nyt for ya'll homies.

WOOHOOOOO! My first tourney win since f*** knows when. February 28th in fact. This makes my record in UK pool finals something like 2 wins and 4 defeats, if I have that right. Think I've been on one final of each of the others, maybe 2 US 8 ball ones.

For the record, cos I know that link won't work forever - they never do - here's how it happened.

w1, w2, etc - won with 1, 2, etc opponents ball remaining
wb - won on the black
wf - won after opponent fouled the black
l1, l2, lb, lf - lost

Round 1 - vs combat
w1, wb
2-0

Quarter-final - vs xkillerx
w4, w1
2-0

Semi-final
l3, wb, wf (won after opponent went in-off on the black)
2-1

That was the closest I went to going out. I was about to 7-ball the guy and was set up for the black when one of his balls dropped in. That was my last shot in that particular match.
