When Pool Sharks was open only to registered users the number of users online immediately dropped to zero. The only users who would come online were occasional groups who'd like to reminisce!

the user count, or the Active user count? That's a good question. It was the number of online users. The amount of registered users on Pool Sharks is greater than the amount of registered users on funkypool.

However, an average funkypool user has played four times as many games as an average Pool Sharks user. Which says it all, really!

funkypool graphics are optimized for screen resolution of 1024*768 or higher, which is why some users on older machines (or low resolution monitors) prefer the looks of Pool Sharks.

I'm closing this thread now, this discussion has come up before. The members voted with their feet when they migrated en masse to funkypool!
