he won't sell it, someone could turn it into another funkypool.

After all, the funkypool code is made up of all the poolgame and extras, so poolgame is just the base of funkypool.

poolgame is a 90 yr old version of funkypool

poolgame is a classic its wicked it shudnt jus not be supported anymore it shud keep going!

yeh I spoke to Nick before about this. It's a 'direct rival' to funkypool so doubt will happen.

Poolgame is simple and user friendly in my opinion.

i went on poolgame earlier and started playing on the practise table and i found out that i prefer the old school pool alot more. im not saying i dislike the current verison, but i just prefer the old school angles, setup, game and code.

it's not as if you can't reopen it as you still have the url, but its pointless having it sitting there for absolutely no reason, bar a few tests. you should either reopen it so people have a choice what to play or sell it like steven said, but come to an agreement with the buyer. like no change in the code, no expansion, have to keep all the funkypool links etc, no advertising it and make it private for us users that would like to play it and know about it allready. so there is no compertition with funkypool. just another alternative for us to have when not in the mood for funkypool.

im sure someone will be willing to buy it...! :-D

maybe its just the simplicity, ease, boldness, standard and raw looks and feel to it that makes me like it so much. i don't know what it is, i just think it's a shame to let it sit the rest of it's life out in the changing rooms.

Generally speaking its Nick's website, he created it, he payed for it and he spent his own time doing it. What Nick wants to do with it is all up to him. (i dont really think he needs to sell it).

He created this i think so that more users would be happy, i mean look how much more upgrades to the graphics of the game and and gameplay have. Pm's have improved so much more too. Plus this game has proper Tournaments and Game achievements scoreboards, Plus a proper forum unlike the poolgames message board! You guys probaly dont realise that this is a much better site with more pottential. Theres nearly 35,000 Users on this website, can you even see a percentage of 5% of them going back? Nope! Plus there will be a Premium upgrade soon so Your gameplay can be even more better! I think this site will be getting even more popular with US pool here now!

Gilli your spot on in every sense there mate, i did to tell you the truth, i went on jsut a min a go jsut seeing you post, and the graphics on the balls are so much better, but nick dosent the poolgame run on funkypool or somthink?

I started on funkypool. Happy with funkypool :-)

However i prefered the gameplay as it was before all the new upgrades.

Dispite sayin this, for the site as a whole, the improvements have made it a much better site for a wider range of users.

If poolgame is kept as it is people can play the old old old old version of funkypool while still benefitting from the new version.

If someone were to buy poolgame, but couldn't upgrade it, what would be the point in new ownership? The only reason why someone would buy the site is so that they could play the old game but create improvements to have the site be better in their own view. This would create a rivalry for funkypool undoubtedly.

If nick decides to upgrade poolgame with tournaments etc. then thats up to him, however will all of the new improvements being done to funkypool i doubt this will happen in the near future.

He's got many things to do and doesn't really need any extra things to do right at the moment...however reminding him of the things he needs to do but hasn't yet done is quite fun and i will every time I see him ^_^ (this isn't asking every1 to pester him)
