Do you always go off topic? Read the title of the thread and stop spamming, if you wish to tell me something else PM me in game (I'm on the most remember?) or create a new thread.

Raiden has a point, i was in a room yesterday, 5 mods where in, and there where people abusivley swaring and nothing was done, going on for about 10-15 mins then they all went to different games.. and dont say they where afk, some started joining games in the middle of it.

So it depends what you want, if you want to moderate the site efficiently, or if you want to have a laff with a * beside your name ;-) in case A you need more mods, maybe also "undercover" mods who dont have the * but can ban to catch people by suprise ( we all know that shut up when a mod comes in ). And in case b you need none because most are currently doing it already.

Also the 'check for any mods online' button is wrong, say someone wants to abuse someone they click the button 'no mods online' then go for it.

But you have to work with the majority of user's.

The majority of user's that want help will use that button for its intended use.

A small minority will use it for the reason you stated, but you always have to do what is best for the majority of user's on the site.

The site needs to be moderated efficiently.

Currently new users seem to be receiving all the help they need, and can easily speak to someone when they log on if they have any questions.

Moderators also need to help make sure the chat is safe and suitable for all ages. I would say this is done in the member's bar, but not in the chat room (which can be very difficult to moderate)

Tournaments are now automated, so moderator use is not needed here, although it is preferrable if a moderator is online to oversee it incase of any problems.

I think the amount of mods we have is ok at the moment, but as the site grow's, so will the need for more moderator's.

EDIT : No worries on double post, I do it myself occassionally.

OK, but if you re-read your post I would think I commented on what you wanted to know, how we want to moderate the site? Which is what I answered.

But i do agree with all your points, i just think there is need for more, especially onces to do early morning/late night.
