I know there's a lot of "anger" over the default. But it's really self explanatory.
Both James and I expressed our concern over 3 weeks ago on Phoenix that fresh being left in the fixture for too long would jeopardize the chances of hippes being able to arrange and complete the game since he has connection issues and usually has to complete a game on 2 separate occasions. Obviously not a ploy to avoid the Phoenix fixture since all of his FCL games were played on more than one separate occasion.
Fresh was left in the fixture for 3 weeks.
Hippes personally asked to be removed because he didn't think he'd be able to complete the game, so a sub in Harry was provided. He could have played Alex Saturday night had James asked him to, but Alex subbed himself out and put davy back in, knowing Davy wasn't available after 7.30pm. So Phoenix running around on deadline day like headless chickens was inevitable.
Ash had an issue with Keith offering to extend the GSC deadline because his player had made effort (allypunk did also, a lot more than fresh did that's for sure) but expected a second sub on deadline day for FCL because Harry logged out at 8.30.
Had hippes subbed back in and played the game and had to leave part way through the default would have then gone in Phoenix favour. So I support James' decision of keeping Harry in because we actually wanted and tried for the game to be played for 25+ days, not just deadline day.
And that's the last I'll say on it.

Dfe as long as we keep playing like we do then we will not lose a default ! We always give our best to play it !! So when the default results come out we always come out like Christmas ! I do have a new name for some the guys on here "The Defaults" ..."if we cant win we play hide and seek"

Damn right we do. I'm working 2 jobs taking 4 classes at uni and have a 3 year old, and somehow still got all my games played.
He'll be fine I was able to bring him home tonight so he's flat out. Thanks everyone.
And yes my team always tries its hardest regardless of who it is. James wanted that game completed for 25+ days of the fixture as did hippes and harry and me. It's unfortunate it's gone to default but that could have been avoided on Saturday and even long before deadline day.
