But in honesty this goes to prove my point. I couldn't play on the Friday evening when I was messaged saying 'yo play now' but was available all day and night Saturday and up until 7pm (even though I stayed over an hour later) on Sunday. dead_silence never logged back on after Friday, and you were subbed in but was only available after 8.30 on deadline evening when I was already gone.. And Ash wonders why he's consistently "screwed" on defaults, because it certainly didn't start nor end with me.

You can post your SL fixtures now, better remind all players that you won't be making any subs so they can send it to Keith with their default info with regards to why they were opponentless for 3 weeks

That was the last I heard from him and the following week dead_silences name was in the fixture as a sub which was 1 week before subs were permitted for the FBL so I waited until the Sunday evening when subs were officially allowed.

His "play now" and "yo" were both sent at the same time. He had my available times but didn't bother attempting to arrange an actual time with me so I knew to log onto my computer, at all. I posted on Phoenix Saturday morning saying that I'd be available all of that evening and all of Sunday up until 7pm..His only response was a sarcastic 'Yo, play now' before he disappeared again. I was on the game server all of Sunday and stayed on until 8.20pm over an hour after I should have been gone due to getting up before 5am to drive 2 hours away for a meeting. Mr_tumble was subbed in but never messaged me or even logged on until I had logged off at 8.20. At which point Ash started demanding a sub. Which was refused.

I'm assuming this ^ is your idea of countless messages. Considering you were aware I was browsing the majority of the day, it would have probably been best to message me in advance rather than logging in that night and saying 'Play now?' .. (If you see me on was with regards to seeing me in game) If I'm not on the actual game server, I'm on my phone. I'd have had no issue logging on last night to play had I been given an appropriate time to know to go onto my computer.

3 days ago I wrote this on DFEs thread:

I saw a message and a couple from ash later on that night when I got home from work (new messages don't often show for a long while if I'm logged in on my phone) so had no idea he'd even made an appearance

So unless I'm constantly refreshing, I'm not seeing new messages which is why, unless I'm logged into the actual game server and you pm me, messages saying things like "play now?" won't be very helpful to me. I saw your messages just now. I logged out for the night as I had a friend over, I can assure you it wasn't a ploy to give you the run around I was available all day yesterday, all night Thursday, and will be available all night tonight.

I play all of my games with minimal trouble at all, but that's because most people pm me or i pm them when I see them on the server or an actual time is arranged in fair advance rather than just "play now?". If I see a message I'd come on and play, If I don't, then that's just one of the hazards of expecting someone can just hop on because you happen to message right there and then.

It's very difficult to differentiate between a player browsing on a mobile or computer. Good communication is the key to getting any fixture completed and you both have sent messages....so that's a huge positive.

That's fair enough, but I didn't actually have an opponent for the first 3 weeks since messaging the_king resulted in being told he'd message me of an evening when he's on and i never heard from him again.

So if the rule of the 4th week sub catering to the active players times is anything to go by "play now?" and "yo" probably won't help much.

That's right, you're only ever interested when you're whining that your players are being "messed about" and that you were 'screwed' in the defaults.. But when it comes to black and white proof it's "move on".. Funny how it was me messaging EVERY one of your players first.

Spam = pointless posts, these aren't pointless if someone wants to cry about being 'screwed in a default' they actually weren't screwed in, so no.

Vixen, I asked pretty politely, please go and ramble on your own thread, we have games to organise here and we actually kinda enjoy chatting to each other... not to you.
