Yeah i told Gerard too do that as not many check the threads especially pool event one. I might do it later to generate a few more players and or teams.

Think four is the minimum allowed on the team and five is max. Would be good to get a fifth in case one of the other players are unable too play.

England can enter another team if there are more of then interested as there are quite a few English players on here. Or even a Great Britain/United Kingdom team or both

There is a fair amount of USA players as well so could possibly get a team or two out of that which would be good.

Great Britain that would consist of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Just get one player from each place then random the last spot if you wanted a fifth

The format thing is a tough one as you dont want it to be massive but not small either...

Could possibly do it as three racks of 8US, 9US and 8UK. Although as the event is football related it should be set points for a win, need a draw in there somewhere as well. So maybe four racks of 8US, 9US and 8UK? Its then no super long or super short and you get the chance of a draw being there as well.

Overall fixture win gains you three points for the win. One point for a draw and zero for a loss.

Yeah there is mate but it's a matter of will they want to enter/play in it. Any countries can enter as much teams as they want to have more teams in it to make it a better competition, as long as they get the players to play in it I would prefer a minimum of 8 teams but if we can get more than that even better!

Was looking to do groups, 5 vs 5, 3 x main 3 games, 3 points for overall win, 1 for a draw. Semi-Final, 5 vs 5, 4 x main 3 and Final 5 vs 5, 5 x main 3.

I would do it as a four on four mate, then that fifth player could be a sub if really needed. Might be better too have one big league to begin with as well. Also have a cup thing that they can play in.

Just too mix it up really. So countries would battle it out for top spot in the league thing. Then there is the side World Cup part of it where teams work on winning the cup.

League positioning could be seeding as well for the cup so lets say seed one could not play seed two and so on, kind of like real life in terms of snooker and sometimes pool depending on the league and event.
