Killer:

No date and time posted yet but Ash is still trying to get us to agree to a 9 pm start (just Sat not Sun), Said No due to the 2+ Hours it takes to do Killer. The Qualifying Match took i'd say almost 2 Hours 30 Minutes because the player doing the safety (me) was poor and let the game drag on.

This is the reason why i won't accept 9 pm on any night. I'd be willing to compromise up to an 8:30 pm start but no later. Uprising is no later than 8 pm. Ash won't lower from 9 pm and we won't raise 8:30 latest start. Me and Stu compromised to an 8 pm start i think.

The deadline decision was last night i believe so i will let Keith decide the time.

I've messaged Keith, so we'll see what he comes back with.

Shame it couldn't have been as simple as it was to organize our first killer match! Funnily enough that was at 8pm.. Obviously we were trying to avoid Phoenix's best players that weren't in it.

Obviously too much to hope for to have a friendly match with Phoenix, Always problems between us and each other clan has been reasonably friendly. Had some quarrels with Huts at start of season for picking Tombo and defaults but those got quashed very quickly and now friendly.

Just strange that it is only Phoenix, people has the issues with. When you know it happens a month in advance you know somethings wrong.

Last game we played against FPD and Black Scorpions (I think) started at 8pm. I think we must've been in cahoots with both of them at the time!!! lol

i say lets play at 6 and get trats in, he hasn't played yet

Immortal (9) - (6) H50

3 - 2 @8US
1 - 4 @9US
5 - 0 @8UK

8US - Some nice frames here despite a shaky start from H5O. I took a three nil lead i think and then some minor errors cost me the other two but balls where always in favour for H50 and he made nice clears.

9US - Still seem too be struggling here, my one and only frame was a three foul win, i had to play safe as i could not find a good angle to next ball, he missed by a whisker and i took it. The rest of the frames where just brawled for, some flukes by us both but in the end i just could not finish anything and he played well in clearing.

8UK - My most hated type which keeps coming to my rescue from my awful games in 9US in past few weeks. I cleared up three frames in one visit i think with some nice positional play. Two frames where fought after safety games and they were very good by us both i think. Two minor mistakes from H50 left me chances too clear which i had too commit to as his balls were in prime place for a very good safety if i did not. I think the result here was fair though as i never made any mistakes at all.

Very good games and we had a good chat as well through out, pleasure too play. He is a credit to Black Scorpions if you ask me. Good luck for when the season gets under way mate.
