Me and Ash been figuring out the format in PM for ages go away you Ash i finally remembered what i was going too say about a tie breaker situation (two scenarios for it as well) which would give advantage too another player for winning two types overall. Just sent you it bud.

I think 16 is enough as well really, if you did want it too go to 24, could easily just be another round of four frames each type or something otherwise the final would need too be 12 racks each type and an extra six does sound a lot more

Thanks for the interest shown in this idea, this competition will be going ahead. This will be set up and fixtures drawn at random very shortly. I'm not a huge admirer in using deadlines during friendly events so I won't. IF fixtures appear to be dragging and both players appear to be active then we may have no choice but to implement one at a later stage.

We all enjoy this site to play pool so I have every faith and confidence those who have shown an interest will play their fixtures.

So all that's left to say is, many thanks to all who have shown and interest. Phoenix has been extremely fortunate to have had such great players represent them over the seasons. Let's all try to enjoy this event and the very best of luck to you all.

We currently have 15/16 players (just need to confirm 1). I was going to invite a few friends too so they can enjoy the event too. triple_b and callaway40 both have shown an interest but I would like this first occasion to be Phoenix players past & present only.

IF it's a success then I will set up another and try to involve many others too.

Round 2: 4 Fixtures simultaneously
6 x 8us, 9us & 8uk - In the event of a Tie, 1 x Straight to determine the winner.

Round 3: 2 Fixtures simultaneously
8 x 8us, 9us & 8uk - In the event of a Tie, 1 x Straight to determine the winner.

Round 4: Final
10 x 8us, 9us & 8uk - In the event of a tie, Sudden Death Shootout. (Player must win by 2 clear legs)

Sudden Death Game Type to be chosen by the player who achieves a higher aggregate score from the 8us & 9us combined. (9us to be played due to its quickness if they are a Tie)
