tombo1 being online now after 13 days doesn't mean _fresh_ is available and certainly not in the right mood to play anyone after all the unnecessary fiasco with the fixture itself.

I have made our decision and whether they sub in everyone and anyone - _fresh_'s efforts are not going to be in vain and he's done and acquired himself as best he could for the majority of the fixture.

It will be taken to default. I'll speak with _fresh_ hopefully tomorrow and we can re-assess decisions and go from there about his and the teams future. I think we need to let sleeping dogs lie and all just relax and chill out for 24 hours.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a captain publicly announce they're refusing to play a fixture and forcing it to default with over 2 days to go! Seems suicidal to me!

we have players online now and we will have active players online this weekend so this match can be played without problems. All week you have been on about taking this match to default and now another post saying it and its friday night and Deadline is sunday night so no intent of you trying and helping this match be played .

Not sure how you can decide a game will go to default with 10% of the time available. From what has been posted there is no doubt that fresh has been messed about up until now, and if game goes to default hopefully his messages will back this up. But you also need to be aware that huts trying to get someone to play will go in his favour. You need a 6-0 default to win the fixture and from the information that I can see there is no way that would be the default yet if fresh plays game it wouldn't be a surprise if he won 6-0 so I would have thought it would be in your interest to get him to play. The default prediction may be way off I am just believing what both parties are saying, actual messages may be completely different.

Tombo1 is on now and has messaged fresh while he was browsing,but he logged out.And Tom has also sent him another message asking when is a good time to get it played.

So now you can now quit all the crying and hoping for a default lol.

If he has only been available for 10% of the fixture then on previous computations there is only .6 of a point up for grabs.Even if they split that then half a point each equates to 5.5 -.5 win. Thats enough to win the fixture 12.5-11.5 for Pheonix. A. Seems fair enough to me. I wouldnt play it on principle. What message are we sending when the player can be off for 18-19 days of a fixture , come on and demand a match played. And if it doesnt get done then he can still win a point in default. Nah. Little bit one rule for one ect to me.

I respect what you've said Keith and fully appreciate your input. I'm going to be totally honest here and I'm really not all too bothered now about the result from the fixture whether be played or taken to default. That's not the issue here now.

The issue now is due to the unnecessary garbage my player and team have endured from such incompetence, awkwardness, obstruction, resistance, reluctance to cooperate we now face the prospect of losing one of our top players. Now the grass is all green on the oppositions side we are expected to jump to their tune (wow they have active players) we have ALL fixture.

Sorry but even if we lose 0-6 in a default the fact I/We kept to our values and principles and acknowledged the amount of effort our player _fresh_ has made throughout then we will still be the rightful winners in my eyes.

I apologize if that's going against the ethos and grain of being a team within the leagues but friendship and respect are ours also acknowledging effort and time given to play a fixture is too.

Ideally I'd like _fresh_ to still play this fixture but he has every right to feel aggrieved and the team will stand side by side with his decision to log off tonight.

Dont go leaving clans bud. Your one of the greats and you know this doesnt happen that often, Its just another team that dont want to play you and want an easier opponent. To be fair Ash has tried it a few times himself but in this case hes right so just relax

To me it's fresh's call, and of course can be overruled by Captain.
He's been on. Clans at start of season went to drastic measures to ensure games were played due to their own team selections.
Was enough done on oppo part?

The other thing that gets me is how 'playing for default' comes into it.
It has been very comical the amount of posts this season where a player offline 3 days for example......FOR FAVOURABLE DEFAULT IMO

I'm not judging you at all mate, and I know you're 100% a stand up guy. However, clans are run almost entirely on everyone agreeing to avoid defaults. To me, there is nothing worse than forcing a default and there is no excuse to force a default. I just think you should give them a day and a time, and if they don't make it - they're screwed. Otherwise, next season will see all clans playing for default in this situation and it will ruin everything.

Top and bottom of it is, I don't think everyone should be arguing about blame, when there's loads of time to play the games. Just get the bloody games played! You know....like we always try to do! I seriously believe fresh would beast more points out the game than he would a default. The best SL default I've seen is 4 - 0, and Fresh in beast mode could easily hit 7 or 8 points.

Im sick of this rubbish now. If Fresh is cool with it and tombo1 can play now or in next 20 mins or so ill be more than happy to play it just too get this joke of a fixture out the way. Im here use me, i feel for Fresh though and it is not his fault but if he is fine with that i do not mind. Win or lose this fixture needs too be done as its just going to get worse.

Its causing far too much tension and no captain involved in this fixture has been innocent. Let's be fair.
