Each match allows for a maximum of 5 players to take part from each of the three competing clans.

I will send the clan cap, or representative a pm about 8.30 to make sure everythings okay.
Please can your 5 players be in the "not at computer" room at 9pm.
From there we will wait till 9.10pm (like a tourney).
At 9.10pm whoever is in the room plays, no exceptions, no arguments.

hate to butt in here, I am all for supporting my team etc
I am also as keen to win as anyone on here
It also makes sense for me to speak up as I cannot play on either 15th or 22nd so it is irrelevant for me either way.

However, having read all the arguments for all sides (many have relevant points) my main concern is this

"If a suitable time cannot be found between the teams, the games will be played at the default time of 9pm on Sunday 22nd November."

At no point did in the rules did it say there was a deadline for the arranged time. Even if a team agreed a time and have subsequently found it impossible to get a team out for the arranged date, I believe there has been sufficient notice given for the agreed time to be nullified and a new time found.

I am aware of feelings towards certain players, however for a clan to suffer due to a personal vendetta I see as ridiculous.

My final point is this, in order for there to be competition there must be rules, if the rules are not followed and adhered to by those running the competition then it is no longer a competition, it is illegitimate and fraudulent. The rules state the teams must agree on a date and time and should this not be found then a default time is provided and MUST be adhered to if the competition is to remain genuine.

I am aware in this case our clan may suffer and others may benefit but rules must be kept otherwise what is the point of having them?

Totally agree: I offered Friday 20th as we can have 4/5 online.

I'll tell you why I can't make this Sunday, it's personal but feel it needs to be aired now. That night I sent the message which is forever posted about this Sunday I sent it to try to alleviate some of the animosity about playing on the default time only. I hadn't asked any of my players and just assumed they'd be available. Unfortunately that's not the case and neither am I.

As you're aware my mother's been very ill and nearly died due to severe pneumonia and an embolism in her heart. She's also been treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy these past few weeks as the chemo was the culprit which nearly took her away.

Her radiotherapy finishes tomorrow and as a family we are going out to celebrate and also the great news it's appearing to have worked. (still early days obviously but the Oncologist seems encouraged). The embolism is no longer there the blood thinning injections have dealt with that and she's in such high spirits.

After all the crap and anguish my family and I have been through I asked not to play the killer on Sunday 15th. Now that's been ignored and my old messages before the diagnosis broadcasted repetitively now being made to suffer what should be a celebratory moment.

We all have issues and I totally respect that but I have said we can try to get a side any time next week to combat the default time.

Friday didn't suit us as you know

Hallelujah, exactly my point from yesterday and since I've been involved in funkypool leagues that has always been the rule for killer. It's a shame that as you said, there are too many people trying to point score ALL the time.

You cannot agree to times and then just change your mind because you've figured out it doesnt suit. He changed his mind 24 hours after making the arrangements, which means both professionals and FPD had already arranged their squads through PM's etc.

I specifically brought my computer home this weekend and made arrangements just to get this killer game played at 9pm this sunday because the captains agreed to that time

To change/go back on your agreement messes the other 10 players about from the other 2 squads. All because you couldnt get the players you wanted.

The time is 9pm on the 15th. Thankfully the league runners saw sense.

In no way, based explicitly on the well known stated rules, should a killer match be played when all three teams do not agree. Circumstances have changed, not enough players from the team are available to play that time otherwise we would all be happy to play.

And before you start tooting your own horn about us needing our best, I'll be honest, even with our not so well known players we would still have a great shot. League positions speak volumes....

Point is, we don't have the players available. End of story.

so why not play some of the weaker players? i'll be honest, you only wanted to play when your top four is available as you want to win so much.

anyways deadline is set for this sunday so not sure why its still being discussed.

We aren't playing on Sunday 15th...it's that simple James - you both can go and play Connect 4, Battleships or even Guess Who for all I care. (All 2 Player games if you don't understand the analogy and concept!)

Ok I'll be the one that says it. It's really awful what your mother is\has gone through but you can't use her as an excuse or a reason for your behaviour on here. As someone who took care of a terminal relative I'm aware of how demanding and emotionally taxing it is, I certainly had no time at all to care about such trivialities or much of anything else at all.

You can easily assemble a team for Sunday, and you agreed to Sunday originally as did everyone else, nobody has changed any rules, they've just stopped allowing certain individuals from being wishy washy and making it difficult for everyone else.

Look, its your captains fault. What kind of captains agrees to a date before checking if the players he wants to play are available?

If your not playing then its between Pros and FPD i guess. If it was the other way and you could celebrate with your top four, i would still ask who could play and try their best rather than quitting because he couldn't use his best to humiliate the other two teams. At least see who can play this Sunday.

James, please read and take in what I have put. You have no idea who we have asked and the point was, we do not have five players available.

I know being on a plane has no comparison to wanting to play some tank game, but seriously...... the way pros and Revs have been dictating, I think you will be rightly seen as the teams wanting to win so much.

It wasn't sympathy or empathy, it was a nice way of saying stop using a sick relative as an excuse to behave like a tool on here. Mixed with a little confusion as to why you have so much time to care about this game to such an obsessive degree.

Well yeah I can comment because I have been through it, except I held down a job at the same time and didn't sit on the Internet being a ding dong then blaming it on my personal life.
