Nice try Ash but me and Jamie has spoken, until Jamie or Keith says to me that it will be default time (or any other time) then i will stick at my guns for this Sunday as its suits FPD and Pros.

Sorry Adam mate can't help it if a clan is being difficult, i won't change date because Ash says so, If Jamie agreed with Ash then i would be outvoted two to one and then i would accept the time set by FPD + Phoenix. As it is, me and Jamie has spoken and we still agree that this Sunday suits the both of us after going through the players available.

Keith will decide tonight and whatever is decided will be the time whether myself, Jamie or Ash like it or not then this mess can be sorted once and for all.

You're all forgetting ash already agreed to this Sunday before conveniently changing his mind once he saw everyone's prepared team sheet.

but thats just it.. so if he's changed his mind, yea not good but sod it it goes to the final Sunday just deal with it.. theres no need for all the crap!

I miss the good ol' days clans were 95% banter/clan related.

Firestorm Phoenix v The Professionals v Funky Pool Devils

Match will be played on the 15/11/15 @ 9.00pm


Each match allows for a maximum of 5 players to take part from each of the three competing clans.

The winning team from each match goes straight into the final.

The 4 teams who are left will play off with 3 players per team in a one off game and the winning team will get the last place in the final. The other 3 will all be eliminated.

The final will be played with those 3 teams who qualify and each team will be allowed 5 players in the final.

These dates / times are final if any clan is unhappy with the decision please remember that participation in clan leagues is not compulsory they are welcome not to play.

I have tried for a few days to get agreement but I am not surprised that when some choose to dictate rather than to work with others we have went round in circles, I have looked at all messages and posts from the teams concerned to arrive at the dates / times above. If anyone wants to start accusing me of bias etc as has already been thrown my way please message me offline as if it is posted on the forums I will not think twice about removing a clan as I have a lot better things I could do with my time than to get involved in petty arguments and reading ridiculous posts that have no place on here and which are causing players to leave the clan leagues.

Right folks im refereeing this game
I will send the clan cap, or representative a pm about 8.30 to make sure everythings okay.
Please can your 5 players be in the "not at computer" room at 9pm.
From there we will wait till 9.10pm (like a tourney).
At 9.10pm whoever is in the room plays, no exceptions, no arguments.

hate to butt in here, I am all for supporting my team etc
I am also as keen to win as anyone on here
It also makes sense for me to speak up as I cannot play on either 15th or 22nd so it is irrelevant for me either way.

However, having read all the arguments for all sides (many have relevant points) my main concern is this

"If a suitable time cannot be found between the teams, the games will be played at the default time of 9pm on Sunday 22nd November."

At no point did in the rules did it say there was a deadline for the arranged time. Even if a team agreed a time and have subsequently found it impossible to get a team out for the arranged date, I believe there has been sufficient notice given for the agreed time to be nullified and a new time found.

I am aware of feelings towards certain players, however for a clan to suffer due to a personal vendetta I see as ridiculous.

My final point is this, in order for there to be competition there must be rules, if the rules are not followed and adhered to by those running the competition then it is no longer a competition, it is illegitimate and fraudulent. The rules state the teams must agree on a date and time and should this not be found then a default time is provided and MUST be adhered to if the competition is to remain genuine.

I am aware in this case our clan may suffer and others may benefit but rules must be kept otherwise what is the point of having them?

You guys are unbelievable, spout how you are here for fun and sharing games out and that winning is not important and the rest of it, but when potential glory shows up, the whole ethos of the team goes out the window. Jokers.

Either way, even your best player plus the average ones won't stand much hope, so hope it's worth losing your whole teams identity of the "funky fun parade bus" over ;)

At least we still conform to our ethos as much as we can. We shared the games out equally in all the three major competitions (except the SL play-offs which of course go the players of the team that qualified). Still prefer to be here than in a team managed by ash like he is playing football manager, yet still can't win a thing. Got to wonder when he will get the sack, do you think he will be offered a job elsewhere?

No you should stay in, if anyone is to sit out it should be myself, Adam or scotty, should one of the players without a game want to play the killer.
