Yes if I continued, Uprising could've functioned. I am however under no obligation to sacrifice huge amounts of my time to this site. It's stolen too much life already, and you can't be a successful funkypool captain and have a life.

I am proud of all the guys for not joining Phoenix Yewtree. Show's they have something about them! :) Good luck DFE. If I can send any others your way, I will!

Highly unlikely on Jack I'm afraid Noobius. If you bagged Sean, he'd probs only play around 4 - 5 games a season but it'd probs be worth it. I'm gonna see if I can't sent Ritcho and Imran your way.

I've seen SS, Pros and now Uprising fold, they were our competition and ones I wanted to try and not match but compete with. I think this and the last season's us managing to win a couple of competitions proves it was well worth my time and commitment.

I'll have a think about it...the team is perfectly equipped to carry on without me...so that's a very good thing.

^ I disagree with him though as with players DFE signed it could be like Uprising never left so the competition is still there.

I still think it is the former though as he didn't moan until these signings joined DFE and was less competition without Uprising and was Phoenix at the top for a moment but those signings changed momentum and made it closer. Competition is now still there. Okay in players DFE "may" be favourites for the time being but Phoenix could sign more. Like a game of Chess.

Just think if it was the latter, He would have considered it soon as he heard Uprising was folding, but who knows.

I don't know why anyone would worry. Me and epic can EASILY blow the whole season the way we play.

i cant see why we all cant work together to try and keep the pool league running , as this arguing and trying to give each other digs isnt helping , were going lose more players if this carries on

its great to see buckjam trying to build up another clan after 2 clans folding , so big credit to him

i wish dgen would reconsider leaving the pool clan league as hes 1 of the main people in the league , hes a big name , i wish maybe he would step up and maybe try get another clan up and running as he knows everyone on pool and on snooker lol

Thanks Sarah but i have no interest in re captaining a pool clan, Last Time was in New Pros and it was a disaster. I did well with what i had but i got so much stick because of lack of ability in myself and the players i had and even before the season started with the Pros Name. Only time i'll come back to Captaincy is if Seb forms Snooker Squad and chances of that are zero as he's too busy these days as it's my 2nd Home. Next question would be why not do what Jamie is doing and sign anyone but i don't want a repeat performance of Pros.

Because people were ridiculing you so sent what you sent me to explain your side of the story when i accused you of the exact same thing.



I didn't post the other thing you sent due to privacy so technically, i didn't betray your trust on that occasion You made it clear if it was only thing i didn't mention that i kept private and off the threads, You said nothing about keeping the first thing quiet and i told Dee as well as i'm sure you would tell Alex if it was DFE ridiculing Phoenix so again didn't betray anything and i didn't send her the other thing due to privacy. Just parts about ridiculing DFE about being Uprising v2.

Don't forget you started another argument i didn't want to be in when all you had to do was say nothing about DFE.

I don't mind, I know he wanted a couple of the players and he didn't want dv8 to join us because that was the very reason he decided to come with us.

I just don't see why the little digs such as uprising v2 and calling us "mutiny" (which is basically another term for an uprising) when at that point we only had 3 uprising players.

Fact is 2 clans folded so there's at least a minimum of around 20 players who want to continue playing clan pool. There are plenty from BS and still more from uprising (Jay was looking). I think it would be a very different story If Harriet and dv8 had gone to phoenix, but the decision ultimately lays with the individual player regardless of who has asked them to join where, and no captain would turn away players like that.

and i also posted constructively about competition as well as with Uprising and DFE merging it seems then the competition is still there. Whether DFE will be as strong, time will tell but leagues would have two great teams again and while Uprising was about, both teams struggled for titles, Now it's open and in a smaller format, anything can happen as both FPD teams made SL Semi Finals where one had to be eliminated which is a great feat for them who was a smaller team but becoming a force and showed this season
