Further to my post on the Phoenix thread which may have been missed by some.

shadows or any user name that he may return on is banned from all clan leagues until i post otherwise or someone else starts running the clan leagues. This is for breaking clan league rules and having multiple accounts.

I posted previously advising that all clan captains were responsible for assisting to run the clan leagues in a fair spirit for all and that if a newbie came on the scene with great stats they checked before signing them to try and prevent such instances happening. I had three clan captains ask regarding this user, yet the clan who chose to sign him didn't ask and not for the first time.

I am fully aware that i could never prove that captains knew who they were signing as they were 'taking the player on face value', but again i ask that all captains assist with the running of the clan league and find out who they are signing or who they were and if they are not sure message and ask. Players who do want to give up such information, usually means they have something to hide. For players who wish to create new accounts and have anonymity, please feel free to message me offline i would never pass on any information to anyone else.

IF the site's Admin aren't able to decipher upon entry who's legitimate and who isn't then why should I?

It's not my job. My role is to steer and hopefully guide my team and its players to winning as many fixtures overall and them to enjoy themselves whilst doing it. How can we even decipher who is or who isn't (if ADMIN cannot)? Just by their stats - wow ...so we now have to become judgemental & skeptical on an ONLINE game over a player who might just be having a good, lucky day or they might just find the game a doddle and be brilliant genuinely.

There have been a fair few new accounts shall we all assume they are shadows now??? Oh yeah and Assume I'm the oracle and knows who everyone is.

If you do not wish to comply i advise you create your own clan league where your team can pick and choose who they want as i will not allow individual members to ruin the clan leagues for the rest of the members and that is what the multiple accounts are doing.

I have posted several options as to how you can check the fake newbies, your issue is that in your desperation to sign the best players to try and win, you don't care about anyone else which is a real shame.

The player in question was caught out within 24 hours which is lightning fast considering logins, but with limited admin logins right now no action had yet been taken. Admin don't sit through every new user verifying 2nd accounts are geniune.

You aren't there to catch someone out, but if there's a new user who has good stats then there's a good chance they aren't new to the site and it takes a minute to check them out. That's all we ask for, use some common sense to work as a community rather than you sign them because they're good and shift all responsibility onto league or site staff.

Especially these days with snooker being a graveyard. In the past you could get a snooker player coming over here and tearing it up despite being new to pool but there's little to no chance of that situation now. If it's too good to be true, it normally is

To be fair Ash, hes had the account 4 days and got several runs over 50 and several Runouts, No one but Seb is that good in 4 days (i wasn't around when Damien started) so even if you didn't know, you had to know it was a fake newbie.

When reading and checking his events it is clear to see which i can post them.

If you suspect they're fake then message Keith or Zante for verification, If they give the all clear then only person they can blame is themselves or the cloaking device to conceal identity.

If you suspect they're fake and don't message Staff then its your own fault if the player is banned or multi-using as you never checked.

I messaged Zante before signing Itapool even though i was 99% sure he is legit, Zante confirmed and we signed.

Simple as that really.

Snooker players have too much pride to not to mention snooker on here. Just ask dgeneratio

It doesn't take much working out really does it when there's a new account knocking in multiple 30+ runs, clearly obvious they are fake whether they are banned or not, all it takes is a simple message to a mod or admin.

It's surprising that Ash is the only captain that has issues with this...

Seriously though, I got accused of being a fake newbie a lot when I first came over here, something to do with a 67 run in my 2nd rack of straight or something like that. But that doesn't happen now.

Course I'll comply and follow whatever you ask but I was just letting it be known I do not feel comfortable having to be judgemental on an online game. As you have requested though i will in future message yourself as I have done in the past.

Not been on for a few days, however after reading a few posts in the forums today I'm pretty disappointed and disgusted with some of the members of our so called community, you go around bitching and arguing over the stupidest things I have ever seen. Admin on site have tried for a long time for things to ride, but after today and when we catch up I think action will be taken. Swearing on the forums isn't clever and yes people will argue this isn't a family site these days, but if you can't debate a opinion without swearing them I don't think you deserve the rights to post. Do you speak like that in front of your kids??? No so why on a forum we're trying to keep friendly?
