I went completely out of my way to come on on a Saturday night to get a game done last night. I don't think it's in any way unreasonable to suggest any one of your eligible remaining players could do the same this evening. Just my two cents worth.

I do agree with you niall here but when our only available players/subs are based in Asia or Australia then a little give and take needs to be applied. 6pm UK time is 3am his that is totally unreasonable. Hence he was online 2pm which was 11pm his.

I do agree also that it's very unfair on corsair but I have tried to accommodate him, keeping him in the fixture as long as possible by asking for him to play sooner or earlier. So it has nothing to do with the calibre of player - it's just being able to be able to play available players from our end.

Thanks for that niall, but I'm afraid that is not comparable. We have one in another time zone and myself in a hospital. No offence but going online at 6pm on a weekend day is nothing out of the ordinary. In fact I have had to make big moves to help people out on numerous occasions. It cannot be done everytime I'm afraid. Always seems to be us having to bend over backwards. Not fair imo.

I'll pop on later mate to post the new fixtures but I've said all i need to say - getting nowhere neither so nothing more I can do.

Weekends are very important to me for a number of reasons, coming on here on a Saturday night is something I've done like twice previously and won't be doing again. So you can't say it's not comparable, my reasons for not being able to come on or wanting to could be just as valid as anyone else's. Anyway I hope it can get played.

Fair enough niall, but at the same time I didn't like waking up at midnight to play a few games and the rest :P lol

I echo this, same applies to all people though, there are many things people value reasons that people do not need to share to others.

I hope the game gets sorted out I'm afraid I cannot be much more of a help considering I'm stranded doing kakuro puzzles in hospital while Emma is dozing off.....!!

Why cant Ash play this game anyway?

Lets hope this gets played but I think it is quite inconsiderate to leave a player who hadn't played a game on funky since July in this fixture and expect everyone to cater to his 6 hour availability in a 3 week fixture. I'm rather curious to see how it would have been ruled though

That he hasn't played has nothing to do with it. He's logged in at 3 arranged times to play, and all 3 times the opponent has not been on. It's also grossly inaccurate to say he had 6 hours the entire fixture. We have proof of that in mails.
