I was here to play fran at 4pm as agreed. He is saying he is busy with other things.

I wanted to play the games against him or any other person that they can get on.

Shad has received a message asking if he can once again delay his match vs fran_ - this is beyond belief. How many times can our player be messed about in 1 fixture? I have requested fran_ to be subbed out now as zante is currently online as he's just played turtle1560.

Shad is not very well, hasn't been for a while and has tried his utmost to accommodate their player and their times. Now to be asked to delay again is taking the mick.

IF a sub is not made then I will refuse to sub out shad due to ALL his efforts from day 1. Sorry but if a default is the end result then so be it. Enough is Enough.

So.....Davy spits his dummy and claims he'll refuse to play any Uprising. Ash asks this morning if I'll get Chris on to play him, and I agree straight away and get Chris to log in. Fresh misses 2 arranged games and I don't complain once and go out my way to accomodate the fixture for him. Legend pot misses his appointed time, off_white doesn't reply to a message. No whinging at all through any of that, but Fran has a few real life problems, all a knock on effect from a personal crisis - and you try to get all high and mighty?

This signals the end of my latest attempts to amicably work with this clan.

You boldly claim to refuse to sub on a Saturday afternoon. We'll have at least 4 subs online on deadline day and have players on all of tonight. Not once has a default worked favorably for a clan refusing to play a fixture with 2 nights left!

Effort is judged on how much is actually applied - shadwell has tried for the past 19/20 days - Just because the Deadline is looming doesn't mean it's the only time to try and compete a fixture.

Agreed you managed to get Cgibson online as did I manage to get davy to play for us. As for the others i cannot speak for them as they aren't online so it would be unfair for me to do so. Thank you.

We have already covered the 'personal crisis' aspect and if i can recall todays arrangement was at the request from your own player. The same one who couldn't make it again today. Reasons are reasons, to be perfectly honest your player should have been subbed out as soon as the 3rd week commenced, but we gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Shame it's come down to this but I and We do not see it fair for shadwell after all his effort and application to be subbed from the fixture. He's been active throughout, posted on numerous occasions, even tried to compromise and meet your player at their own specified times.

A sub on those premises alone is the least he and the team deserves.

As for not dealing amicably - well it's a real shame but that's your decision.

I don't mind. This refusal to play is a transparent attempt to manipulate the default process. Shad will be on before the deadline, and if he's not - it will only be because he's refusing to do so. He, and several of your players will be around and available to play the tie, as will ours. At this juncture - that is all that is important. If you are stating right NOW that this game will definitely go to default, and whatever our attempts from this point onwards you will refuse - then you're delusional if you think you'll come out of this well.

Also, when you make an ultimatum regarding subs, it's best to do it when the captain is actually online to to make the sub!!!

punkpoet did the same thing to xvth man and came out with the default win that gave PDs the fixture. It would be sad if a situation with even more lopsided effort was given the reverse ruling. I would, of course, understand why it was ruled so, but it would be sad.

Hopefully we can get the matches played and all of this can be water under the bridge.

Zac didn't declare that with 2 days left until deadline, that his clan would refuse to play the fixture. No captain worth their salt would do that!

I actually remember they did faust. That was why it was the most absurd default decision in fp history. The hipocracy shoved about is crazy.

Either way, shad should not have to sub out. Fran is unavailable, he should sub out. It's common courtesy imo.

Yeah I remember being told not to accept any sub offers from XVth man, and this was when the sets were 2 weeks instead of 3. Of course, at the time, I was glad we got the default win lol.

I think the point has been lost in transition faust. There is no reason to let the game default, I think the point is that shad will play anyone you can get online of course when shad is available.
