It can be done - the problem will be keeping your players interested and reliable. Uprising and Pros aren't as dominant as they used to be - they still like to think they are higher (in authority) than anyone else. Still top of the leagues BUT not as brutal as they once have been IMO
Always good to try and level the playing field. My team has proven that along with signing quality, newbies are/can be just as good. Just require a little belief in themselves and from their Captains.
Take some players I've managed to acquire: _fresh_, legend_pot, joeyy (from snooker), _pacman, etc - none of these accounts have been well known - yet they are all quality players, improving every game and also are extremely reliable.
So signing players is easy - sustaining their interest and keeping them from just ditching your team for a so called 'better one' is the tricky part.

would say legend was known, joey not well known on pool but known on snooker, i didn't know pacman or fresh before you signed them and done pretty well (particularly fresh), legend has had exams but done well in his games.
your right about pros not being as strong but with different captains its to be expected, hoping me and rich can bring it to its former glory, for Uprising believe they haven't lost alot of form and can still contend with Pros.
Pros = MVP
Upr = Snooker Squad - lots of friendship and could challenge the top clans
Fk = like a Top Dogs a lot of potential to be great but not quite there yet
Rev = reminds me of Nutters

Mate, I only formed Uprising because you signed me to your new clan (with a similar name to Uprising), and folded it before the season started. I started it ENTIRELY with clan newbies and free agents, and we was a poor team in the then second division. Now everyone keeps mentioning us as being part of this status quo. Anyone could copy this formula.
Admitted there's only 3 of us in Uprising from our original team, but I'm sure you'll agree that this team would struggle to beat any of the current teams!

I could probably build a team of 16 for next season quite easily... I, without sounding bias, used to be a good captain and hardly had any defaults. The problem with setting up a clan nowadays is that the status quo, as stated previously, where uprising, pros etc dominate is hard to challenge. Players get tired of losing and any decent players you have, which make the games more competitive, get poached by the top teams once they lose a few players.

I'm not the only one doing it so don't single me out, merely answering those who have posted. Maybe i did start it by replying to Ash but meh.
Regarding League i would keep 16 as clan size and drop to 6v6 in fixtures to give more clans a chance

Right for me i think 3 leagues are too many.

I think clans are fine. The worst thing about clans is that people behave a certain way.
I have always felt that when reading on the threads and seeing people argueing. I dont get why they are not given a warning?
I mean if people thought they could miss a match for argueing alot will stop.
Anythig else? Will repost. I only scan the other comments so if ive repeated sorry.

Don't mind him dgen... He apparently got up on the wrong side of the bed...
