Frame 6

Stopper knocks down the 1st 2 balls but is stuck on 3. Alan plays a great long pot to top mid, smashes the 4 down the rail but snookers himself on 5! Stopper underhits the 5, fouls and Alan is in to take the frame! 5-1

Frame 7

Stopper dry breaks. Alan pots the 1, plays a snooker on 2 but overhits and the 3 drops. Alan cant get out of his own snooker and Stopper pots the 2, then the 4, then the 5 but snookers himself on 6! Ball in hand but Alan misses the straight pot! Unbelievable scenes! Stopper misses the pot too! But snookers Alan! Stopper cleans up the last 4 balls...lucky...but they all count...5-2

Frame 8

Alan smashes down 1-4 but snookers himself on 5! He gets out of it, forces a tough shot for Stopper who misses... and Alan's back in to take the frame! 6-2

Frame 9

Alan takes down 1 & 2 but 3 is too tight a cut to pot and he underhits it. Stopper gets the 3 but fouls the white! Alan comes in and tidies everything up nicely, and takes a 7-2 lead

Frame 10

Stopper pots the 1 but snookers himself on 2, he tries the spectacular but fouls white in the process! Alan takes to the stage and clears in style...8-2 UK next

Frame 11

Ok, first one of UK! Alan breaks, but its a dry one! Stopper chooses red as his first victim but then pots a yellow! Carry to Alan! It's a great finish by Alan. He needed to use the carry, but as two pockets were covered by reds, he manages to maneuver his balls perfectly and clear up nicely...9-2!

Frame 12

Stopper's on for a runout!! Only to miss the pot on his second to last yellow. Alan steps up to the table with 7 reds on, can he clear??? No! he can't! He plays the snooker instead the cheeky monkey This lad is out for blood tonight Stopper gets out of the snooker but its all too much for him to do...Alan plays a beautiful shot to free his two red balls and he takes the frame...10-2

Frame 13

Stopper's out attacking again! Takes down 3 reds but runs out of position on the final four. Alan steps up to attempt the tricky clear...He gets as far as 3 but he too loses position on his last 4. Alan plays a good safety though and Stopper could be in trouble. And Stopper underhits his safety shot and Alan now has a simple clear with a carry...It's got to be 11 surely????? .....It is, Alan makes it 11-2 to the Gravy boys

Frame 14

Alan over hits his red and a yellow ball literally hangs off the top left pocket...will Stopper use this as his advantage? NO! He won't, he pots it first the fool leaving himself a difficult clear lol. Position runs out, and to add insult to injury, Alan sticks him in a snooker...tight sod Tidily done by Alan, 12-2. One frame left

Frame 15

Alan pots the white off of his break! Could this spell trouble? Or is it a tactical ploy? Looks like a tactical ploy, 3 reds down, Stopper's forced to use the carry, still no pot on and Alan comes in to play. Alan sinks four yellows but plays a noob shot and Stopper is in! He pots his last 4 reds but can't get pos on the black. Great shot on black by Stopper!!! He sinks it to the bottom mid from an unpottable position...but wait?....Ohhh noooo, he knocks in Alan's yellow and it's all over! 13-2 to Alan

Cheers. I made far 2 many mistakes on the us table but luckily for me my opponent didn't take advantage and made a lot more mistakes than I did hence the result, had I played like that against Keith then the score would of been the other way round.

I expect to play like that for most of the season anyway so any good performances will be a bonus!!
