Ash is obviously gonna pick his 8 strongest against the best opponents, same as everyone else. If he thought he was one of the strongest he would pick himself against the top teams...just common sense and good captaincy.

But I think the main thing that people are disgreeing with is that he put himself into a game, then subs himself out a day later I believe.

Everyone knows that I don't have any issue with Ash, but just seeing both sides.

but he doesn't just say he is picking his best eight and that's that. He comes up with lies to cover what he is actually doing. If he did just come out and say it's tactical him putting himself in and subbing out, or indeed he didn't want to play sarah then I'm sure he wouldn't get anywhere near as much grief. He doesn't help himself by going in others threads and accusing them of tactical subbing and what not and even when they give a valid reason it's a conspiracy. I truly believe if ash limited himself to running his clan and his alone he may be left alone but while he continues to go into other threads and tell them how to run a clan then others will comment. All of this clan try stand up for him until they see the light but until you tell your captain to stay off others threads then you will have to read a lot.

And while I'm at it if certain players choose to take digs well after the event thinking they are above others or smarter by changing words then they aren't helping the clan they protest gets too much attention!!

Ash usually says he doesn't pick a strongest side as It's not possible because his team is that good, otherwise I'd agree.

^^iluding to?? im just here to help out and try and stop whats happening we agreed to take ash out of a game due to the constant moaning and our 2 new players to give them a game as ive said god knows how many posts ago now,,he will be playing next set end off

hippesvilles post. I was eluding to anything I was being blatant. That's the point though he wasn't taken out to stop the moaning or to give others a game. I read the posts at the time. This is now the convenient reason. And again IF that was the reason (and I'll never change my mind it was) then why not say that? Why say I made a sub and I don't have to explain myself to anyone? Yes of course he doesn't but can't you see that will only cause a response??

That's no issue. Ash has every right not to select himself. The only issue is the (possible) game manipulation. For example, if I sent in my teamsheet to play Phoenix and picked myself and slimeball and left out pirate and cgibson, and then subbed them both in if I thought me and/or slimeball would lose - the reaction would be enormous! Whilst not against the rules, it is against the spirit of the game, and it isn't something we want creeping into clan pool. it would be really unpleasant if every clan did it.

aaaand I rest my case. The vice is having a civil conversation and you post this? Could this clan please not moan about everyone posting when even when I try to be constructive this is what the main reason for your moans posts.

faust as ive said m8 things are gunna change now still goes to say there will be more disagreements as the changes arise but hey ho its gunna be a challenge the only issue is it will take a couple of weeks but im gunna try with the captains and vices help,,the changes ive made today regarding swaps is due to times and thats gunna stay if our players have problems arranging and i see that for eg he plays nights he plays days i will swap players around that will justify the need to get the games done the only subs that will be made are if a player cannot make it online ie trats at the moment so if yas bide with me things will change ,,,can i have a rest now please
