I don't mind who i have to play. Both players are very good level and ok for me

You have always been able to swap players from Team A to Team B in super league. I know Uprising keep their teams separate which is their choice and can limit them. If you were in ash's shoes and the rules allow it, what would you do. You do what is best for your clan.
Also with regards to your team sheet quote, yes you are right as long as there are subs or swaps the team lists mean nothing if you want to be tactical after the games are released, it is just most teams dont go down that road. I would love to play each team twice and each team get the others list in one fixture and get the chance to do tactical match ups
So in regards to that horse10000, by no means did I say swaps and subs (tactical or not) were not allowed, I said that they should ONLY occur within the same fixture.. surely you can see my point in that.. If anything and by what your saying, I would then put the clan runners at fault (no offence) for not having that rule implemented
And if the rule isn't implemented than you might as well not have team sheets and just let the captains match fix which ever way they would like.. I don't see the problem, it's a simple solution or am I genuinely missing something here!!

no im not making them for real, was just using an example. What if i swap them again tomorrow? Will you still be ok with it? Im not against subs or swaps and i agree that they can be made (even tactical subs if you want) but certainly there should be a limit on them.

i will swap fixtures every day in the first week and than in the second one ill make sure i get all the games played no worries But i doubt it wont cause arguments and make this site less fun than it is at the moment due to certain individuals

neither us or turtle would enjoy it if we all kept messing about with subs/swaps. Both teams enjoy the random draws and it makes it more interesting imo.

Surely though, that rules needs to be taken out, being able to swap over two different fixtures is a unfair advantage.. Instead as there are five fixtures per SL game, and a total of 16 clan members.. choose 8 per side and be able to swap and sub between those members.. much like a football game, players only on subs bench but not the players that have been left out of the squad

Then the blame has to lie on the runners unfortunately.. putting that rule in place has paved the way for these underhanded tactical subs, pls take my suggestion above and consider it, thanks!

Just reading and i like this idea, maybe when you do the list you can name 2 subs and you can only use those 10 players instead of the whole 16 players. or just the 8.

Just reading and i like this idea, maybe when you do the list you can name 2 subs and you can only use those 10 players instead of the whole 16 players. or just the 8.

Right! let's draw a line under this! If we refuse to play the game, we'd be showing as little faith in clifton188 as Ash is showing friendyboy. We have faith in all our players and we're not gonna play any silly games. Permission to play him granted Mr Clifton!

To be fair, the first season of SL only had one clan choose to field 2 teams. After that it went to just one team per clan (I think), then it came back to two with the option of switching around.

Nah I don't think the swap was right either.. shows a lack of faith in the player initially in the draw. But to be fair with the 2 players ye have left in the fixture I dont see why ye can't just beat them anyways

Yes but that's not really underhanded Eri. To be fair, Ash probably hoped he WOULD have 3 on at the time, and he didn't want to compromise their killer teams chances by selecting himself. I don't see anything wrong with that - I do however think this swap is totally against the spirit of the game.
Just on this point, the option was there not to agree to a 2 v 2 and field 3 players anyway.
im not surprised anymore from him now. He said yesterday 3 was the minimum he would have on for killer, we had 3 on and they didnt. In the end Joe didnt play just because of his poor captaincy. One thing they say, other thing they do

On the killer issue, yeah 3vs3 were the plan unfortunately didn't materialize, I would have played but I were not available as were with my parents. tactics and cue_ball accepted my late request to stand in so all matches were played around the time we arranged. So main objective were met, to complete both simultaneously. Thanks to your players too.
