Nope, never seen it before this season everyone has always played their strongest players against the strongest teams that I have seen and I have seen a hell of a lot of seasons.
You want clan leagues to be fun for your players above all so the ones that have been around in them for ages should play each other not throw people in their first or second season in against pros.
We did things the right way around in my opinion and put our most experienced vs TFS, Dynamos didn't in my opinion so can't preach ethics or the spirit of fair play.
Nobody else in the league is forced to explain subs so why should Ash?
Check the rules, no explanation needed and if nobody else in the league did tactical subs apart from Ash (your words) then why have they been discussed for at least 10 seasons before Ash captained a clan?
You have a history with Ash so your opinions are clouded by that instantly anyway as are Zac and Ang3ls, you said yourself you have nothing against tactical subs and you know they aren't against the rules yet here you are arguing to the hilt.

Not arguing to the hilt. If you check my posting history, I actually have more history with Zac than I do with Ash!

I used Ash as an example because he's the only one to make a tactical sub this season so far, and only him and Mikee did it last season. I'm not against it, but I want parity for the entire league. My point is that if we are to use tactical subs, I'd like them transparent, and limited. That would cut out any anger from opposition teams, and Captains wouldn't have to demean themselves by making up c0ck and bull stories to justify the subs. Everyone would be happy.

As I said, personally I'd prefer a kind of gentlemen's agreement from all captains that we won't use tactical subs - but if that's not workable - I think we should officially regulate the rule!

Sub, don't sub. Swap, don't swap. Don't care who I play or who the opposition puts against me. It's not against the rules so if he wants he can 'tactical' sub. Don't see it being a moment of tactical genius myself but he is allowed to do it either way. I just wish people would hold there hands up and say yeah it was, up yours.

On that subject I know that if Ash wasn't having computer problems the scores would have been updated on every page like they have been ever since phoenix started especially with games being played.
Is it actually a tactical sub not fancying a game yourself anyway? Seen plenty of players ask to be subbed out of games because they weren't in form...

Oh look there's one today so even if this was the case I wouldn't see it as a tactical sub in the true sense, sure if he was worrying about the match result when you've got davybaumers sat in the wings it would be him going in (no disrespect at all to richie who is quality.)

It's a subject for league discussion if anything though...need to give dynamos their thread back and hit an impasse I feel

Oh I sure would onevisit but unfortunately if aint. IF I were going do one it would've been in the 2nd week trust me. What people don't know is before I even made this sub i spoke via offline message in private with Zak and stated i will have to swap 2 players around as unfortunately our times do not match. I was DECLINED there and then, also if you look on this thread a few posts back co-captain wrote 'If you make a swap i will reverse it immediately'. Left me no choice but to sub out rather than have any more crap.

Two sides to every story, were only after the sub the opponent said he could play at 8pm tonight. Too late by then plus that don't fix my laptop does it.

You even brought it to the league discussion thread where everyone explained to you that whilst you run your own clan other captains can use their squad how they see fit.

everyone can bog off now, ash explained to me why he has done what he has done, me for one am not happy about it but not a lot we can do, if he really doesn't want to play me, then so be it! Guess we will never know whether the score would have been 14 - 1 or 15 - 0 to me
