Anyone do or are interested in any of these things? Although I'm not a pro iv been doing it myself for over a year now and iv helped a lad on here called Jim lose a few stone and pack on some muscle.

This thread is just to see what other people do or even to help those who would be interested in getting fit, bulking up or even just having a better diet. If anyone is serious I can help give you a plan to make them gains or lose a few pounds.

So anything you do to stay in shape put it here.

Some of the main types there, some people tend to get caught up in the myths and think oh I'm only able to eat chicken and pasta or potato. However there is a wide variety of foods you can have that have a high protein count and great energy source.

Venison is one of the best meats out there (red meat wise).

A bit of dark chocolate 45 mins before an intense workout is supposed to help stimulate muscles too?

5 stone and counting, this was done by telling jim he didn't even have to do any cardio to lose it. Another myth is that cardio is the best fat burner. When in actual fact doing weights will burn a lot more calories than any cardio workout. So people who do them mile runs are on a one way ticket to snap city, when they do their legs in from too much running on hard surfaces. There are so many ways to achieve whatever goal you want.

Venison is a great meat yeah.

Not heard the dark choc theory but it certainly sounds interesting, I'm sure the ladies will like that one lol.

One of the best things I found, is Shaun T's insanity.

You need no equipment, just yourself, and determination!

I was given it by a mate, and it was the best thing I did. I was going to start it again this year, as I had put on some comfort weight, (about 3 stone) but I broke both my hands lol.

In the new year, I will be back on it. 60 days to transform your body.

Another thing is all these products that places sell for example Holland and Barrett. They are purely to lure you in with words like big muscles and all this when in fact you hardly need any of this. Generally you should be able to get all your protein requirements from food and working out a balanced diet. However if your in a rush with work etc a good supplement is whey isolate protein, this is the highest amount of protein you can obtain within a shake. But generally I'd say save your money as unless your going to be struggling to fit it within your diet you should be ok.

I know of a few people who do this. Personally I wouldn't recommend it as it's highly possible to get salmonella poisoning, I'd much rather cool my eggs. Some also leave the yokes out and eat the whites as the whites have the protein, the yoke has the calories lol.

Also you digest more of the protein if you cook the egg rather than have it raw.

Yeah I thought it was just the white that has the proteins in..but didn't want to post it incase it was wrong lmao! Should be ok on the salmonella front, so long as the eggs are fresh. When i was training for RM recruitment, I never had any problems with it.

One thing that people hinder their training with is hydration. Got to keep fluid going in, little and often. After all, muscles are 75-80% water! Think it's like being 3% dehydrated weakens your muscles by up to 15% or something crazy like that.

Yeah iv seen this and know people who have done it, the theory behind it is great. However people who pay for this are throwing their money away. It's nothing you can't work out yourself with a good bit of research and determination. Once you learn the basics of the ideas you can make your own workouts and ajust it to your liking. It certainly does help people lose weight though.

The salmonella is usually ok but you digest nearly 50% more of the protein with it cooked than raw.

Yeah water is a great thing to have aswel, you will not believe how much this simple thing is to help you lose weight and keep your body ticking over well.

A friend of mine did the P90X version of the Shaun T workout, in the 3 months, he lost about 2 stone in weight, and has since taken up cycling as a good way of keeping the weight off

Anyways, I used to do a lot of working out, and the main thing is making sure you rotate workouts, that means leg days have to happen

Indeed, I laugh at all the roid boys out there with the skinny legs. They are purely doing for reasons to do with insecurity imo.
