Great result Jack, we needed two of them really but oh well. Can't do anything now. We should still be within a reasonable range going. Into the last set

Ok, so what we need is becoming clear now. 80+ against PD's, which snooker squad have achieved this season. 90+ against underdogs, again this has been achieved this season. Very tough scores, to win the title we need to be averaging about 11 points a game. That being said, if we're fighting for second not first (If SS don't beat Pro's) then we should be fairly comfortable to take it. We should be weary of ending up in third, some not so good results coming in and we could slip behind and end up third.

apologies to ultras, fuunky needs one heck of a score to pull us back now. what a top player this guy is though, was tight for most games and after a touch of fortune early on for me it came back at me thick and fast.

8us: 2-2 tight games, took a 2-0 lead with a touch of fortune, at 2-1 I had a chance at a runout which I messed up on the last colour.

9us: 1-3 again, tight games. But I messed up once or twice on an easy shot and blew a chance to go 4-3 up and another mistake lead to 5-3.

8uk: 1-3. This was where it all went against me. Got a good clearance to take the first frame, second frame ended up with another clearance but as I potted the black I also potted the white. Third frame while going for it I made another mistake and gave him carry, which he dispatched well. Final frame I got a runout going and guess what... potted the white with the black again.

Should've nicked the game by a runout, instead got that score. Take nothing away from him he is a fantastic player, but the way I lost this and the score it leaves was gut wrenching.

Agree with Zak's summary, he was very ul with the UK8 after making very tricky 8's, shows how important the positioning is. Ul mate.

I think apart from the two fouls on the blacks, we both missed a chance in each type so was probably the right scoreline going into uk. Just those 2 shots for a 5 point swing around.

overall it was a very close match. i probably had a chance to take the draw in the 9us but i played a bad positional shot on the 9 and i left it touching with the white. but it could have gone either way i think and Craig maybe agrees with me in this

Yeah, it was a close game by two very even players, it's no coincidence that it's the game that has more luck involved that decided this, would of had no qualms with a draw! Good games mate!
