We're pete's game (with a 5-point lead) away from beating Professionals to go to the Super League final.
And despite the current nice scores Professionals are putting up in FBL, I have us with a decent lead over them. It looks like we might be heading into a deciding fixture with Uprising in that league later this season.

your right we need more high scores in this set and the remaining sets ... but the bottom line is in fcl we do always beat the other top teams which is the only reason we keep winning it ... you and uprising have done great this season but I think now its pretty much over .. although I could be wrong

well to be honest- with a one-legged pete, without owen, and without sam it was always going to be a tough ask!

With the way it's panning out, lose to SS and you'll lose the league providing we can get 24/35 points. Anything else and you'll take it on bonus points unless you smash SS.

I think SS need to drop 0 frames to have a chance, so now they're probably fighting to stop pros winning the title.

with the current scores and who is left to play I think its just a case of us stumbling over the line lol

seb is right pete was firing on one cylinder so I actually took a comfortable win in all honesty no offence to pete .. sam has got banned owen is without a computer .. james contained seb today and redherring found some form against Imran .. so all their big players are either out of this game or have been rendered null and void by players coming into form for pros at the right time .. once your best players lose its always going to be an uphill battle especially with 3 games remaining and 17 frames behind against 3 very good players

Of course, I had the game much closer at this point -even a slight edge to SS but unfortunate circumstances coupled with in-form pros turning thins round after a bit of a damp ending to last set for you and you've never had much pressure to get a result.

But it ain't over till it's over, hopefully those 3 players left know that

To be fair each game pans put differently, a week ago my score va Scott could have been 10-5 the other way, I was very unlucky but that's how it rolls, Mooney I suspect could have flora bed one or two more.
Pete is having troubles, it's very rare Seb gets kept to 8 games out of 15, pros are top for a reason, not because they caught is on a bad week, which has happened this week, but because they have been a better team in the FCL all season.

I am not saying that if they caught us on a good week for us we would spank them as I know for sure I was expecting 8-7 either way in my game vs Scott thought Seb may have gotten 1 or 2 more and was expecting mooney to prob get 1 less than he did, no offence to anyone on those games but that's just how I thought they would pan out.

Not a big difference but a difference all the same and doubt it would have changed the league outcome.

we came into the game with ss under the most pressure we have ever been under in fcl .. we have hit it head on and come out with some great results against some of the best players on the game yes ss have been unfortunate with the fact they have lost some players but quite frankly as captain of the pros im dam proud of the way my team has grabbed the bull by its horns and performed in this set .. as mich said every game probably could of panned out different but we have obviously been more clinical (not in an offensive way) and we just wanted it I guess lol

fair result, he is very good tactical player, to be honest, i haven't seen something like that before in my short career :) in every frame, after the break or few visits later, 3 or 4 of my balls were in a terrible positions and when i tried and opened one of them, another one was hidden - didn't have much easy shots. in one of the frames i was left with one unpottable ball, he was with 5 balls left and after 3 crazy safeties i opened my ball forcing him to miss - then with the white ball in hand i just missed :(
outclassed tactically, i need to work on this aspect of the game.

I continued my awful play from yesterday's FCL game and beenjammin took full advantage. On the bright side, I'm starting to feel a lot better about the 8-7 win against _nerdzz_ yesterday lol!

I hadluck in us8. then he just got the luck. I potted the 9 and white in 9us. left him with 2 simple clears. UK i lost 5-0. The black foul first frame. which we were both freaked out by. And he won the luck. Sorry guys. Down to whoevers left.
