It got so many players because wood went posting on every freekin thread and posting in game to everyone....sending messages to...everyone! lol
Has anyone seen this advertised in game??
With the snooker tourny it was advertised in both games through announcements which makes it more official than someone just making a random thread??
When i saw the thread on snooker it looked ok but what swayed me to join was how it was officially recognised as being a "once in a life time tourny" which probably got the majority of players to come online, not everyone reads the forums guys!!

There's a lot more than davey posting 2
It's so that a format isn't disadvantaged by being split into mara/normal etc (straight doesn't have a marathon, but people who like 8us could pick normal or marathon and even though more people want 8us, because it's split the vote may show straight as the most popular).
So put your name under which ever one you would join.

I think it should be a UK tournament as i feel that got the most numbers in the past.
but 8US takes more skill (except runouts which UK takes more skill).
Just no Arcade tournaments.

It hasn't been advertised as it wasn't clear if it was going ahead as planned due to the people still "voting" on this thread.
However - thats probably never going to stop, so back to what was said a while back and :

Sunday 3rd November. 9PM - 8UK Tournament
Second
Sunday 1st December 9PM - 9US Tournament

128 Entrants! One Great Tournament. One Great Champion.

basically the people want more players to join tournaments so snooker hosted a huge tournament which got over 100 entries i think which is massive.
Pool wants to do the same thing.

Due to pressure from many sides and my own common sense, we are changing the name so the petty stuff can be thrown to the side and we can get on with having an even bigger event than the Once in a Lifetime snooker tournament, and force snooker to go even bigger next time!
Bear with me in the next few minutes as I edit everything.

Nope, its ranked and for tournapoints - remember that as far as rank goes it no different to playing the same number of tourney games in different tourneys, but there are a lot more points to be gained

I've posted it on the facebook page. It would help if you could like the page and share the post so your friends can see it. If everyone did this that currently like the group we would get a reach of 340,000 people.
If 200 people share this (which is easily reachable) we will have around 43,000 reach which is a great way to get this promoted!
