A Clan that wins a Division 2 and then gets promoted will have, probably, 10 games of getting hammered in Division 1 before returning back down (if they last it out).
At least this way you get a mixture of both harder and easier matches - but with more matches against those Clans immediately around you.
And from memory there was seldom any relegation from Division 1 because the bottom clans were getting hammered every fixture and folded or other Division 1 clans folded and came back as new name super-clans starting in Division 2.

Chris this is one of 3 leagues
there are way to many games for the majority of clans to cope with
we've lost one real clan
and one left through cheating for what ive read, not great for the remaining players who were left high and dry in that team through no fault of their own

I can't see there being three leagues at the end of this season - obviously that is subject to input from everyone involved - runners, captains and players.
But lets come up with the best solution moving forward.

Does anyone know what the deadline should be for Fixture Set 2 of the Clan Grand Slam Cup?

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but not one of the three leagues is compulsory. We're in 3 leagues because we can (EASILY) cope with that amount of games. If your clan can't - don't enter 3 leagues. If it's a problem - it's entirely self inflicted!

my choice
t be expanded on of course
the new league incorporates the following
1) Super league itself
2) the Individuals to stay class idea Chris open to all
3) Team Cup competition
4) Killer league separate and why not players like it
5) bring back the Arcade Cup too

If everyone gets the same amount of games there isn't that many tbh. It doesn't work like that with most clans tho, they put there best players in every fixture.

certainly less than two leagues the site would be even more boring. Clan games are the only thing which keeps this site and the forum alive . Have a look at snooker threads who has only one league, at times it happens that a post doesnt get posted for two or three days.

i feel should be FCL league , FBL league and and (FCL cup ) and (FBL cup).
i feel SL should be removed .
its good to have lower clans thinking they might win something and 2 cups are so much fun . we used to have cups and players like getting to finals / winning them .

I have no views either way at moment. I would say that there are elements of the SL which might dovetail into an existing league format (probably the FBL) which I think Seb suggested previously.
Cups are difficult beasts unless you can come up with a different format to what already exists in the Leagues. That's why the Clan Grand Slam Cup should be good although unfortunately it wasn't on a knock-out basis to start with.

Sure,
Instead of having to manually edit or record the individual scores when you have posted the team Names will highlight in Blue so when clicked submit score they automatically appear on a spreadsheet or database linked to the websites. A lot of websites are built using hyperlinks takes you directly from 1 page to another only in this case will ONLY take the information submitted and not navigate the user.
Just an idea

I think that might be beyond Weebly - and certainly is beyond me. However if anyone wants to research that and let me know if there is a better way of submitting results/changes etc, they are more than welcome to.

Only other suggestion would be with scoring: ONLY submit the results when they are ALL complete?
Instead of 1 at a time, OR Every Friday the Captain or Vices submits the results from that particular week?

Weebly is the worst website known to man!
Check out a website called leaguerepublic.com, that is one of the best website for any sports table. I use it in my league, as I am the league runner, never had a problem with it

Ash, what I think you're trying to say is the ability for users to log in and submit the results directly on the site? (like how it was for the individuals several seasons ago)
A hyperlink is just a link which takes the user to another page or another part of a page, not quite sure what you mean by hyperlinking results. From what I've read you just mean submitting results?
