Why is the golden cue 60% of total possible frames before you become eligible. 16 fixtures a set, 16 players a team meaning theoretically an entire team could play a game a set each and not one player from the clan is eligible for the golden cue. Alternatively if I win all my frames from now till the end and have by far and away the highest percentage yet because natty doesn't put me in two fixtures at any point, a player less deserving wins it.

True, but that reason can go two ways. We felt that 60% gave a more accurate representation than 50% so we went for this. It'l always be subjective over who deserves to win but the higher percentage that is used narrows the field down more accurately.

To qualify for the GC this season you have to play a minimum of 135 frames (9 fixtures).

So 9/15 for any sides in the top league & 9/16 for any sides in the bottom league (after the split).

I get why you would want a bigger number but surely 120 frames would be enough of a mark to accurately judge folk deserving of a mention. Logically you would expect any player to play every set meaning 50% for most teams so just think the adjustment down would not punish someone who played every fixture set with not meriting them with a mention on the list. The folk at the top will naturally play more games so don't think a switch up or down in the number will effect the end winner but a switch down to 120 will not dilute the top players come the end of the season.

Think that pretty much hits the nail on the head, was the issue we were trying to avoid. For example, the top 5 from last season;

2nd cgibson92 75.83% (91/120)
3rd whocares8x8 73.33% (110/150)
3rd erigert 73.33% (55/75)
4th turtle1560 71.43% (75/105)
5th tinie 71.11% (64/90)

Where 75 was 50%. Had a quick look and 4 of the top 10 played exactly 50% (other two finished 7th & 8th).

In any case, the top teams are going to play 15 fixtures (as opposed to the bottom six who will play 16 in total) so potentially 225 frames maximum for a player.

(Not meaning to diminish any achievements from last season, simply using stats)

why dont you make a GC when all the three leagues are included? that way the winner would be the best player of the season

i know its against the rules, but can you make an exception for Underdogs to allow sniper and thepoolgod play in the current set as its unlikely atm to get the last game played with them?

Rules are rules u can't make exceptions for one clan and not all clans .

actually im pretty sure exceptions can be made for a clan if they're short of players or in danger of folding

When teams submit team sheets or make enquiries could you please keep all communication to the same message until that message exchange is full?

Currently (haven't had a chance to check with the other runners) I'm getting everyone starting a new message every time they want to get in touch and it's getting incredibly hectic on this end.

I know it's a slight hassle but it would make things much easier for us and remove the likelihood of mistakes.

There is room for some flexibility in the rules. However, nothing will be considered unless an official request/s are received from the respective clan.

GSC - Request

So let me get this right:

Best of 15 - 1st to 8 wins
Best of 10 - 1st to 6 wins

Do we have to carry on when the targets are met? Reason I ask is I can see a lot of partial matches with losers either having to go or leave in a strop. The main problem will be having to re-arrange to finish off the frames for no eventual outcome apart from 0 points.

I would recommend the matches conclude when the targets are met.
