Resetting is fun, you no like it then don't use it. You're tryin to make the game worse for a multiple of people to benefit just you. I always look at it this way, if I come up against a resetter all that means is I'm losin less point in a tourny. The person operating the acc isn't any different just his points. If u care that much u should get out more <3

What part of resetting is fun? Do you get a rush of adrenaline as you are about to click the button? Or is it the fact that you have wasted all the hard on getting achievements and effectively throwing them in the bin?

That's like me picking up my pool trophies at home, and just throwing them in the bin as if they meant nothing, I know its an online pool game, but it still takes a bit of hard work and a fair amount of effort to achieve some things.

But fair enough, if you like to reset, that's your business, I have merely stated the problem I have with it, and was open to thoughts from everyone on the matter.

I enjoy the game more for being able to reset, because sometimes when i've reached the highest ranks, have a bad couple of days and decrease like 80 rank, i like to reset and start again.... It's a fresh start.

You go ahead and throw your pool trophies away pally, one day you'll find that they are valueless.

^^ Tell that to the people who have been here for over a decade now building their profiles. Just because something is meaningless to one person doesn't stop it meaning everything to another, and both are 100% right.

I was dead against resetting too until I spoke to someone who did it regularly and they explained the challenges they enjoyed. Setting a rank target for the day, setting a winning percentage to go for, etc etc.

All every bit as valid as any other way of playing the game.

I have never thought about it like that before, that is a fair enough reason to do it.

Every person comes on here for different reasons, I come on because I enjoy the banter of a lot of the people, but I can see that people have their own reasons for resetting

could be worse, there are alot of players "hiding" behind new accounts, like seriously get a life, no-one cares who u are or who u are pretending to be, its what happens on the tables that counts, not the name or rank !!!

not at all love playing fake newbies, just shows em resetting or setting up a new account was a waste of time coz they still lose

I'm a convicted serial resetter, but I have no opinion on the matter. I couldn't give a jot about the site anymore, no matter what opinion you put forward it get's either ignored or rejected. I'm only here to help a mate out but this site get's worse as each day passes by. Until someone does something about it and listens to what the people want, it will always deteriorate.

3 years ago I couldn't see life without Funky, now it's just a hindrance. Believe me people, social lives are amazing

who cares if they reset i mean honestly, it doesn't affect you in anyway shape or form - i personally haven't as i only play for 1 thing and thats runouts, if i could just play for those and reset everything else then i would reset to

I agree with this. There was a point that I was on Funky more than was probably healthy....haha. In the years that have passed since then, I have become an interested observer on an irregular basis. Nothing interesting has been implemented on the gameplay front in that time. This site has so much potential and I hope one day it is fulfilled!

As for resetting, it is isn't for me. I can see the attraction and if I had done it once, I would probably do it regularly. But as it is, I prefer to keep all my achievements in sight....No matter how mediocre they are in this era of Funkypool...lol.

and this is why there is so many resettings, rank system is really bad i hate when ever i lose too many points in one game, after this lose what would you do? u keep it going up or start all over again? if u keep going all ur losses is gonna cost you more then 6 points and you always gonna be mad with ppl that beats you, best way is resetting, IF i would of beat this players i was gonna get like 1.3 if that

You can't use that loss as an example he has played thousands of games and just has a lower rank than most people. You just got out played by a player you should normally beat. That is not resetting or anything like that...

Resetting does not bother me at all, the newbie in tournament thing would be the only downside to it for me though. I don't hate resetters as i am a serial one on snooker. Think i have reset about 1,000 times even with good ranks and some tournament wins. Snooker is just a laugh for me so don't care much for the ranks and stuff.
