Internal Clan Competition:

Unfortunately davybaumers has had to pull out due to work commitments. This is fine, it's only a fun competition, real life comes first.

Due to davy withdrawing from the competition the bracket has changed to the below.

INTER CLAN KNOCKOUT COMPETITION

As there are NO matches next week at all, We are running an Internal Clan Knockout Competition for those who showed interest. This will involve all game types including the arcade ones to give everyone a chance to compete. Games are valid to be played from 00:01hrs BST Monday 8th July.

Please arrange your games as you would for a league encounter.

Format: Arcades = best of 3

8 ball arcade (best of 3)
9 ball arcade (best of 3)
8us billiards x 1 frame
9us billiards x 1 frame
8uk x 1 frame
Straight x 1 frame

Reason the arcades are best of 3 is to eliminate anyone losing without taking a shot (ie. golden breaks, runouts etc)

In the event of a tie of 5 - 5 in a match "events" are to be used to determine the overall winner. If no "events" are registered by either player a deciding frame of straight is to be played.

The Competition will have a Gold, Silver & Bronze medals that can be put on your "about me" once the competion has been completed.

FCL Update

First off, thank you to all teams for completing set two with no defaults at all. Well done there.

Also note that some teams have played more games than others at this stage but by the end of the season each team will have played 10 games in total. (Less if a team folds.)

Well Done Team 4th in the FCL after Fixture Set 2, brilliant for our 1st Season. Keep up the great work, proud of ALL of you!

Just got to get as many points as you can now as you don't have the easiest of games from now on. Even though you have lost two games you have got a fair few amount of frames out of those ones 40+ in each. All those numbers mount up and i see a top six finish for Black Magic, if i had to say where i would have to guess 5th - 6th although 4th could be very possible with another win or two

We will try to win as many frames as possible, Im very pleased with how we are doing. Yes we have tougher matches to come on paper but with belief and resilliance we can only try our best.

Top 7 will be a great achievment for only our first season so thank you for your encouraging words Jay.
