INTER CLAN KNOCKOUT COMPETITION

As there are NO matches next week at all, We are running an Internal Clan Knockout Competition for those who showed interest. This will involve all game types including the arcade ones to give everyone a chance to compete. Games are valid to be played from 00:01hrs BST Monday 8th July.

Please arrange your games as you would for a league encounter.

Format: Arcades = best of 3

8 ball arcade (best of 3)
9 ball arcade (best of 3)
8us billiards x 1 frame
9us billiards x 1 frame
8uk x 1 frame
Straight x 1 frame

Reason the arcades are best of 3 is to eliminate anyone losing without taking a shot (ie. golden breaks, runouts etc)

In the event of a tie of 5 - 5 in a match "events" are to be used to determine the overall winner. If no "events" are registered by either player a deciding frame of straight is to be played.

The Competition will have a Gold, Silver & Bronze medals that can be put on your "about me" once the competion has been completed.

The idea was to try and make the event last the entire week to keep players active and reduce their boredom tbh,mate.

IF there are timing issues and say your opponent cannot make it then im sure some reduction to that rule could be made. I will be online to make sure all matches are played so if a player is seen online when they said were unable too then i may have to dq them just to set the principle. Last thing i want to do as is meant to be fun.

Ash i think you should allow play to start now as it will let they games be done and move onto the quarter finals, it's only 12 hours or so early tbh and most players are available at the weekends which helps

Just thought i would say have been approached by a Clan to move during this window and being fair i said i would think it over to then be told it's a take it or leave it situation.
