Still got a few spots left, but still waiting to hear from a couple of people. Hopefully this will fill over the next couple of days.

I've decided the format for next season. 8US, 9US and 8UK will be exactly the same as last season. The straight format will be as low as I can go (with regards to frames). Because this is the first season straight is included, this will be a trial format, but obviously if straight were to carry on I can't go any lower.

Straight format:

Quarter-Final: 2 legs, 2 frames each leg.
Semi-final: 2 legs, 3 frames each leg.
Final: Best of 7 (first to 4) match.

If a straight Quarter or Semi-Finals match ends up level on frames after 2 legs, then 1 frame each of 8US, 9US and 8UK will be played as a tie-breaker. The player that wins at least 2 of these frames will go through.

Each individual frame played by a player will still be added onto the golden cue as usual (normal frame or tie-breaker).

Looking Good :D

Reading about the Straight before I got to the 'draw' part, I'd thought of,typical me, a home and away decided. But I guess the other formats are decided woth extras too.........lol just had ANOTHER thought! Think I should stop that lol, but for 8us, 9us and 8uk, could an alternative decider be like the last set in tennis, and ay till someone wins by 2 cleat frames?

Like I said, am stopping now lol

Keep er lit ;)

Yeah but mate , they chose straight for a reason, maybe just one more straight as a tie breaker instead of one of each the others

Ain't a bad idea, but the way it's done at the moment is working, so don't think it needs to be changed

But the people that play 9ball for example have chosen 9ball for a reason, and there's been no complaints to how the deciders work so far. Also, not many games go into deciders, there's been maybe 3 or 4 that ever have (not sure exactly how many).

But with the straight, I wanted to keep it the same as the others, so doing a frame of the other types as deciders seemed the best option. Also, I've spoken to a couple of people that are playing straight, and they don't really seem to like longer matches of straight, that's why I've kept the matches as short as I can for the first season. So playing an extra game of straight as a decider might not appeal to some people.

Plus, because straight matches are shorter than the rest, it will help anyone's golden cue stats if they can play more frames as a decider, but still keep it short

It is a good idea lol, but it also means that a match could be 30 frames long if people don't win by 2 frames for a while. That would be longer than the final
