They are seperate tournaments mate, that's why I'm only asking everybody to enter one. Won't be doing that + an all round one, I wanted to do something different and at the same time something that won't involve too many games for everybody, since most people will still be finishing off the clan season and already playing other events

I've been thinking, and if I don't get 16 players for each game type (which would be 48 players), and instead of just doing the one type, there could be 8 players in each type (24) and still do all 3, but give a week deadline and play two legs?

In this case it would not be best of 5 frames (in the first round example), it would BE 5 frames, and in the event of a tie after two legs then a tie breaker could be played. This would still only be 1 match per week, not much

The format has changed slightly, I think it is better to change early on, and it will be easier to get 24 players than 48, and also means it can get started quicker. It has 1 less round, but one more game to play overall.

Revised format

8 players for 8US, 8 players for 9US and 8 players for 8UK.

Quarter-Final:
2 legs with a week to play each, 5 frames to be played of your type in each leg.
If a match is tied after 2 legs, then 1 frame of straight is to be played to decide the winner.

Semi-Final:
2 legs with a week to play each, 7 frames to be played of your type in each leg.
If a match is tied after 2 legs, then 1 frame of straight is to be played to decide the winner.

Final:
A week will be given to complete the final, although it probably won't be needed, but it's there.
This will be played as a best of 11 match (first to 6).

Players can only participate in 1 game type, if you are not bothered about or can't decide what type to play, then before the fixtures are released a random draw will be made to determine this, depending on available spaces in each type.

No extra points will be awarded for golden breaks, run outs or 7 ballings. The match will be purely won and lost on frames alone.

I have decided that 1 frame of straight is to be played as a decider as opposed to 1 extra frame of your type is to eliminate the possibility of winning by chance (especially 9US).

Chris, why don't you do it like the world tour on snooker?

1 even 16 entrants, but has 4 or 5 different tournaments in the event with prize winnings (fictitious of course unless you got deep pockets) and at the end of the season see who wins...
