Ive recently started fishing, ive always been a keen sportsman but the old knees are starting to knock, so ive took up fishing,i have very basic equipment at the moment, but im getting some more tomorrow, any tips on the basics would be appreciated

Was 4 - 0 crusing along, he tried to clear in the final frame and managed to pot some outrageous pots to take that 1 and get a point on the board, dissapointment was already creeping in for me.

9us was ok for both of us accpet form the fact he tapped break but i wasnt surprised as he does this a lot to me and in truth does nothing, could of gone either way i fouled in 1 of the games to make the difference.

8uk and i was almost certain what was coming next, he tapped break in this aswell i am really puzzled by this tbh! the 5 games took well over an hour to complete, yup i basically just ran out of will, ran out of patience, i was nearly asleep i spent the whole time just getting out of snookers tbh, just little easy 1s my balls was never there to clear he made sure of that by tieing them all up, hoging the pocs with my ball right behind it, so i could nothing about it, i eventually fouled in a few of them, i should of had 1 more form this but i was rly not interested by this point, the 4th frame i think it was i missed a plant then trid a cannon but ended up on nothing.

Im making a big thing of this but yh its just after the game i write this so im not that pleased, the result doesnt bother me derik is well capable of beating me or getting close, its just the way it was played...

But it is part of the game and as the scores show the change in tactic worked well for him.

Would never catch me playing that way as i just go for everything and don't really play safe and when i come against a player who does i usually lose my patience and up smashing the balls anyway

Thanks yup, yh its the way i play i am sensible about it if i have no shot on ill play 1 decent safety to put me in a better postion but i won't intentionally just cover the pocs and turn down pots after pots hopeing for 2 shots lol.

No change in tactic tho, he was pretty consistent all the way thorugh it just didnt work very well in US and i was in control for most of that anyway, but like i said new it was coming i really can't play against that he is better than me at that type of match, i cnt consistenly get out os snookers, ya no 8 being my max lol

ul pete m8! i can relate to some of those games.. Not against Joe but some other player!! I like to be attacking as most know and this guy just played snooker after snooker trying to get 2 shots!! We're just not used to that type of play i guess.. No worries m8!!

Based on that description, I don't think anyone will blame you mate! Would've done the same thing. Just smash the place up.

It took 70 mins to play 15 games, that averages at 4 and half minutes are so a frame, based on a player clearing straight from a break in a 8 ball basis game, using 20 secs a shot, that takes 2 minute 40 secs, obviously you dont use the full 20 secs, but obviously, not only one player were playing 8 shots, so based on that it may have took 10- 15 mins longer than an average or a quick game

UK took over an hour Joe, as i said it felt like hours and u replied with its been 55 mins, that was in the 4th frame.

Not gunna fall out with ya over it, just practice more on the attacking side of things i know u have got all the weapons needed to do the job, maybe just lacking self beleif!
