agree mich i have no problem with Sarah but my only concern is that an outsider added themselves to the team which this person has said they could have handled it differently so all good there before anyone else posts.

chris - you mention it is in the rules (i haven't read them) so does this mean i could post myself in a new clan without informing Seb or the other team? if so then can this be looked at end of season as i can only see problems.

Both Vice's have been on today since the league runners and myself posted about the ronald_faja situation. Would a league runner be able to make a decision on it or will I have to wait till Wednesday night to find out?

So.... how the hell is the scoring done for this?

No reply either way! I take it the two games have a two week deadline from when its cleared up?

If no voluntary change made by 9pm a replacement will be drawn at random from those eligible.

Let me turn this around to a League which has rules stating only the Captain can do anything. Make changes, make signings etc. What happens if one day that Captain suddenly stops logging in with no warning. Do you accept that the clan can no longer make any changes or sign any new players/replacements even though they have a core of active players?

add in the number of racks you win overall

add in a point for any Golden Break or Run Out achieved

add in a point for actually getting a game played.

Typically use another leagues rule to justify something that many eople have stated was done wrong in their opinion. Other leagues rule has worked fine so far.

Its a genuine question - what would happen? Its a genuine question because it goes to explaining why our rules are the way they are. No negative connotation against anywhere else - just showing the different approach.

Their is a thing called runners discretion, not happened yet so i cant totally commit to what would be done. My original post was not aimed at the question.

But as you probably say, unless you ignored the written rules to use that discretion you would be in the daft situation of a clan not being able to operate properly purely because one person goes awol.

The end outcome of both our contrasting approaches to the rules however is the same - a common sense decision and outcome - just different ways of getting there. I dont want rules that dont work for me in every situation.

For me i would contact the vice and see if they want to take over, failing that id ask the rest of the clan to see if someone else thought they could manage. If no one in the clan wanted to take over then id fold it. Id certainly not allow anyone else to add themselves in especially someone who is captain of another clan - no offence to Sarah or anything like as she is more than capable, but just makes sense IMO.

Shes not captain for any other clan in the TCL tho, she removed herself from Sinners, people should remember that all 3 leagues are different events started at different times by different people so have nothing to do with each other, if someone wants to enter 3 different unconnected events and captain a different team in each event thats up to them and theres no rules to stop it and there never should be, only a powermad league runner would even try to bring in a rule that restricts what players can or can't do as far as playing in seperate events on Funkypool.
Knowing all the present league runners I can't see that happening but you just never know lol.
