Another top draw clearance by Mooney, he's really finding his feet now. Sets himself up for the long pots and smashes them in. Great long shot on the 6 to leave 7 and 9 perfect. 5-2

Frame 8

Great clearance by Joe, gets to the 9 and misses by a mile, leaves it on the cush near the top left pocket! Jig steps up....Ahhhh he's rattled it! 9 Ball is well and truly cursed as it sits inside the pocket mocking both players! Mooney steps up and smashes it's face in...3-0 Mooney, 6-2 overall!

Frame 9

Jig gets a lil' luck and leaves himself a nice 3-9 combo, misses by a mile and Mooney makes a fantastic clearance to put himself a good way in front at 7-2

Frame 10

Jig plays a strong cannon on the 4 and pots 3 balls. He is left with the 6 to bottom mid, black to top right and 9 over top left pocket. Boom the 6 goes in but it's over hit and the white runs to the right side of the table, leaving a difficult double to bottom mid for black. He reverses his double and misses the bottom right by a long shot. Joe steps in and claims 9 Ball 5-0 and the match 8-2.

Frame 11

Mooney goes straight off for the clear but is stopped by a red blocking his yellow on the left upright cushion. After a series of getting out of snookers (carom player), he manages to move the red, pot the 2 yellows and smash home the black. 1-0, 9-2

Frame 12

Mooney once again goes for the clear and leaves it wide open for Jig to smash home.....but he falls at a hurdle and Joe claims it with 4 balls to spare!
It's 2-0 peeps! But more importantly it's 10 bloody 2!!!

Frame 13

Fantastic clearance by Joe, it's a good job I'm his UK mentor!!!! It really is like looking in the mirror when I watch this lad play UK. Nice double to top mid on the yellow, perfect pos for the remaining 3, and a nice soft cannon to finish back off 11-2

Frame 14

Jig has the making of a good player but lacks the killer instinct that Chips n Gravy strongly possess. He makes a good clear but stumbles at the final hurdle as he snookers himself on his last yellow. It's oh so easy for Joe 12-2

Frame 15

Bit of a long one, Joe plays a cannon and black sticks to the edge of the pocket like a cliff hanger. After a load and load of tactical tip taps he manages to free it up, pot his red and smash it home for a 5-0 win and a 13-2 VICTORY!

Right I'm off to bed. Should be on tomorrow but in case I'm not, I fly to Spain on Friday, leaving my phone at home so I won't be contactable until I get home on the 18th.
