Frame 1

Mooney goes for the clear but gets ul with a touching ball, he tries the cannon and fouls by potting Jig's ball into the top left. Jig goes for the clear and misses but leaves Joe a tight cut on a long pot, doesn't come off and Jig takes the frame. 1-0

Frame 2

Joe didn't get much luck off the break, Jig chose stripes as they were covering every pocket. Joe managed to get a few balls down but nothing really fell right for him. After a couple of easy roll-ins and a fortunate double on his last ball Jig was in pole position to slot in black and take it to 2-0.

Frame 3

Quick and nice attacking frame here. Mooney goes for the clear after the break but comes to a stop. Jig takes over, pots his balls but snookers on black. He tries for the luck shot but it doesn't come off. Mooney clears and it's 2-1

Frame 4

Boring frame really lol. Many fouls and missed pots and chances. Falls at the end for Jig to clear and he plants his ball onto Mooney's and it pots...leaving Joe on a straight black to make it 2-2

Frame 5

Great clearance by Joe leaving Jig on 3 balls and snatching 8 US 3-2...He's finding some rhythm now. 9 Ball to follow

Frame 6

Jig breaks and has to push out. Mooney flukes a snook and Jig fouls from it. Joe tries a combo and fails miserably, Jig goes for the clear and misses his first pot. Joe clears the rest wp mate 4-2
