Your only drawing on points with them as you have not managed to catch up with the first score they got which has kept them up there. The Babes have lost one yes but they lost by three points, in the other two games they won by a decent margin and also got 20+ in the last fixture. If you lose but manage 10+ points in a game then it helps you out just as much as the team you lost against.

Mich and I are the types of players where we won't win every game 6-0 or 5-1 but we'll guarantee a solid 4-3/4-2 win everytime

If another one is done i have said the scoring will be changed, more complicated so to speak.

When you give bonuses for winning fixtures, I think you're raising the luck factor. Luck is a lot more likely to decide the outcome of one fixture, than the whole competition.

That's true. But in football, leagues aren't decided by how many goals you've scored, it's by how many games you've won. Same with this, if you win all your games 4-3, that doesn't necessarily mean you've fluked it though. You've been consistent enough to get the win each time so you deserve the glory.

Imagine team A: 4-2 everytime in 5 fixtures,
by frames: 20 by your method: 15

Imagine Team B: 5 fixtures, 4of them 6-0, one of them a 2-4 loss
by frames:26 by your method: 12

Not really the team who wins the most games should win the league. For example you win all your games, we win all of ours except the ones vs your team and we still win the league as we beat the other teams with a bigger margin.

There was no talk of bonus points, what was said is if you win the fixture you get 3 points and the frames just basically go towards frame difference, which would then decide the winner should 2 teams finish on equal points.
